6 matches, 6 victories. We completed the group stage of the superliga without defeat. On Saturday comes FMP with Filip Čović.
This game was a routine victory. We were leading for the whole time, in fact the only question was whether we can reach the 30-point difference for the end (we couldn’t).
The game ran without any spectacular event or moment.

And even the one and only available stream worked fine.

We reached the 10-point difference in the first quarter (9:19). It ended with 14:21. In the second quarter Konstantin reduced the difference to two points (21:23)

and there were many missed-out attempts on both sides. We could set back the two-digit difference for the second part of the quarter (21:31). The rest of the first half was going smooth, we could have a half-time break with 26:41.
For the third half we reached the 20-point advantage (40:60), finishing it with 24 points ahead (42:66). In the last quarter we were very close to 30 points (49:77), but Konstantin could pick themselves together enough to avoid this humiliating defeat. Finally we won "only" with 24 points.

Six games, six victories. It’s something that must be celebrated appropriately

It was one tough match. Upon the end result it might look easy, but there was a period during the second quarter that caused a few extra grey hair.

In the beginning everything looked fine. We were leading for the entire first quarter, though even then it was obvious that Konstantin won’t be just another training partner, instead they took this match very seriously. They had excellent, spectacular actions, they visibly got prepared for tonight. Nevertheless we finished the first quarter with 21:15, and even though the standing was a bit closer than expected

Average Fan decided beforehand that we would win with an at least 20-25-point-advantage

Then came the second quarter.
At first it was nothing special. Our advantage was 10 points (31:21), though none of the teams could score for quite a while. Finally Konstantin broke the silence (31:23).
The guests had a very good game. They were tricky, fast and had cheeky steals, meanwhile we missed out a long row of attempts in exchange.

Then Konstantin started to reduce the difference, from point to point, from basket to basket. 31:28, 31:31, then 31:32... At this point the guests slowly took control over the game. It was high time to end the first half. It ended with Konstantin’s advantage (33:35).

In the third quarter we equalized (35:35), but it didn’t bring any relief for a while. Konstantin took back the lead, finally the standing was switched back to our side around 40:40. We quickly jumped to 46:40 and from this point on the game didn’t change. We were leading until the end, though our defense line wasn’t always on top, but thankfully our advantage was big enough so that it didn’t cause any harm for us.

The last quarter was smooth. Partizan picked themselves together, we used full court press, Veličković kept on scoring. Konstantin could earn points almost only from free throws, they barely had any action goals. (Yet they got a lot of free throws, the game was torn to small pieces, referees were constantly whistling.) Finally we couldn’t make the 20-point dream advantage, yet we still had an assertive win.

KK Partizan - Konstantin 89:80 (Serbian SuperLiga play-off, Round 8)

It all looked to be smooth in the beginning. An easy, training match-alike event with a victory, of course. Something we need after the eternal derby, where our self-esteem was roughed up.
In the first quarter our biggest problem was whether Bezbradica could score 10 points right in the beginning of the game or we should wait until the second part. We were leading to 25:14 and we kept it up in the next quarter as well. The difference was almost always above 10 points and there was one - very pleasant - part of the game when Average Fan could hardly follow counting the quick baskets one after the other. The pace was easy and light, just what one needs on an early summer Tuesday afternoon. Murić was excellent, Đumić pushed the ball to the ring like a dependable worker, and after all these the result was 52:39 in the half-time. Average Fan went to the kitchen for a mug of coffee and watched peacefully as children were playing on the court in the half-time pause.
I’ll be honest: all my respect goes to Konstantin that they didn’t collapse despite Partizan's domination and having all odds against themselves. They were brave, they fought and they were not willing to give up. They reduced the difference to 57:52. At this point we also had to speed up from our cozy pace. Murić and Marinković settled back the 10-point difference after a series of 3-pointes (67:57), but Konstantin kept on fighting (69:60). Finally we ended the third part to 74:62, but the last quarter was still left.
It began with 74:69 and we couldn’t really settle back to the 10-point difference anymore. Konstantin’s players scored a lot of 3-pointers, surprisingly quickly and precisely. They reduced the difference to 79:75. Tepić quickly threw two baskets (83:75), but the guest team was again panting right into our ears from behind (83:79). Then Bezbradica took the team on his back, that Bezbradica, who played extraordinarily for the whole game. He was joined by Marinković and the two together with Milutinov successfully made it to 89:79 for the end. Still we couldn’t finish it with a two-digit difference, because Konstantin got a free throw at the very end and they could score one. (89:80)

KK Konstantin - KK Partizan 74:87 (superliga)

The match immediately started with the collapse of the one and only available stream at sportuzivo.tv. It didn't come back to life until the end of the game.

Because none of the bigger channels broadcasted it. Thanks a lot to the crew of sportuzivo.tv, to still try the impossible and broadcast the game. Their servers were most probably overloaded.

Konstantin grabbed Partizan by the throat and made it to 10:2. We equalized to 11:11, then to 13:13, but it was not easy at all. The home team still won the first period, leading to 18:16 at the buzz.
The lack of stream was especially heavy in the second quarter. It could have been very exciting, as the two teams constantly switched the standings. At first we equalized (18:18), then again (20:20), we even took the lead (22:25). It was even 28:30 at a point, then suddenly 33:32. Soon before the end it was 36:35. We could still switch it to our benefit, most probably in a mortal hurry, because the half-time result was 36:38. (Some sources mention Milutinov doing a superhuman job.)
In the third part the home team again took the lead (40:38). We equalized (40:40), then the standing became 45:43. We equalized again (45:45), even took back the lead (45:47) and probably this was the point when everything found its place and started to work for our benefit. The difference increased on our side (47:54), what is more, even the stream worked at some points. We ended the third part with 47:56.
It soon became 47:60 and from this point on there was no return. 49:64, then 55:72. We could keep the 10-point difference for almost the whole time. 59:72, 65:77, 70:84. We kept things under control. The game ended with 74:87.
