Radnik - FK Partizan 1:3 (superliga, round 14)

Dear All, the thing is that there are no official photos for this match. Not even non-official ones. So you all have to content yourselves with my blabber, and if you survive, you'll find video highlights at the end of the post.

I even sneaked around at Radnik's website to see if they maybe have any photos about the game. Well, that site was updated a month ago. RIP.

This match was the match of fouls, especially in the beginning. In the first 15-20 minutes players kicked rather each other than the ball. The first chance came in the 3rd minute, Radnik's striker Radović came up on the right side and shot, Kljajić had a great save.
Then we put the label "done" on Radnik very quickly.
Balažic headed the ball downfield after a corner in the 9th minute. Bojinov forwarded it, Đurđević ran up, he was all alone, Radnik’s defense was behind him. Đurđević shot and scored, as it’s written in the Big Book of Football. 0:1
Seriously, only one minute passed afterwards.
Partizan attacked from the right side. Đurđević crossed the ball to the left side of the pitch, where Leonardo arrived - all alone. The entire Radnik defense line got short-circuit, Leonardo didn’t want to waste his good arrival - he shot and scored. 0:2

Radnik didn’t collapse. It’s something that definitely has to be appreciated. Another team would have been knocked out after getting two goals within a minute, but Team Surdulica ran and fought ahead. For this they deserve a salutation, also because that’s one of the reasons why the match didn’t end up as a total-boredom-passing-around-let’s-forget-it event, but as both teams ran, fought and tried for 90 minutes, it was an exciting, sometimes even spectacular game.

In the 16th minute the home team got a free kick. The cross came dangerously to our goalmouth, Kljajić saved with his leg (!). Then Francis shot, our defenders blocked him.
26th minute, Bojinov showed his usual form. All doors and windows were open, he was all alone in the goalmouth facing only the goalkeeper. He shot and hit goalkeeper Čančarević being only 3 steps away from him. (Okay, this time he did have the ball. Otherwise Radnik’s defenders mostly ran him off and tackled him.)

Someone should tell me why this Bulgarian has to be forced into the first team. He scores one goal, but misses out at least 10 other chances. And let’s rather not mention when he is run off by defenders, misses a pass or cross for being too slow or gets stuck in offside position. Comedy...

In the 33rd minute Balažic headed it to the box, the goalkeeper saved. Radnik had an instant counter-attack, Kljajić saved. Not much later Radnik attacked, a cross came, someone forwarded it, Radović shot, but it was too wide. In the 38th minute Leonardo had a distant shot. The goalkeeper was out of the goalmouth and he was just watching with a desperate face as the ball makes a perfect line flying directly towards the box. For the home team’s great luck it finally hit the crossbar. Then Everton had one try with a distant shot in the 44th minute, too high.
In the second half Radnik scored right at the beginning. Milovanović arrived at the right side, crossed to the middle, Zlatanović was waiting there. He just had to forward it into the box with a small kick. 1:2
We got stuck to our half. Radnik had a very combative style, they really forced an equalizing. We could have only one free kick in the 55th minute, after that Đurđević ran up into the goalmouth and shot from a sharp angle, but it was too wide.
The 63rd minute brought another Bojinov-show. The Bulgarian shot from the distance, the ball ended on the stands. Oh well. Leonardo had a try in the 67th minute, the ball again avoided the box. Radnik had a chance in the 73rd minute, Zlatanović headed, Kljajić saved.
Then the 76th minute can earn the label "fail".
We attacked. Radnik's goalkeeper ran out of the goalmouth, even the penalty area. He was at least 20-25 metres away from the goal line. He wanted to kick the ball downfield, but instead he kicked into the air... Đurđević was right there, ran up, the goalkeeper desperately ran behind him, but Đurđević was faster and walked into the box together with the ball. 1:3
In the 80th minute Radin missed out a huge chance. Đurđević tackled a defender in the penalty area then very selflessly passed to Radin. Radin shot, missing the box with just centimetres.
There were two more attempts by us, both in the extra time. First Đurđević shot (too high), then Đurđić had a try, the goalkeeper saved.

Radnik Surdulica - FK Partizan 0:4 (superliga, round 34 - play-off, round 4)

All the devils of technology conspired against this blogpost. My net connection has been on the verge of death again for days, and it just had to collapse yesterday right when the match had started. It was so disastrous that I couldn’t download Partizan’s live score page either. I could watch the game only now, at this link.
No photos were taken at the game. I found none at Partizan’s website, nor on their official Facebook-page. No idea how it occured, nevertheless I brought you a few screenshots.
Both teams started very hard, with lots of fouls. As if Surdulica’s players had got the command before the game to kill everyone from Partizan. We got a free kick in the 2nd minute after one of these fouls, about 22 metres from the box. Mihajlović shot, the goalkeeper caught it.
In the 6th minute Brašanac got the ball on the left. He ran up with it and shot from a sharp angle. The goalkeeper caught it. A minute later Bogosavac crossed to him. Brašanac ran up on the left, crossed to the middle, where Bojinov was fumbling too long, Radnik-defenders tackled him. Saša Ilić tried to save the day, his attempt ended with a corner kick.
In the 9th minute Saša Ilić forwarded the ball, Brašanac got it, then passed it in the goalmouth to Bojinov

what a selfless gesture

but the goalkeeper was faster than this sloth caught the ball before the Bulgarian could have reached it. Radnik started a counter-attack. Deletić got the ball on the right, he ran up with it, shot, but it was way too wide.
Apart from this one attempt Surdulica was stuck on their half. They could break out some time in the 14th minute. Owusu got a huge cross at our penalty area. He shot, it was too high.
In the 17th minute Saša Ilić started an attack on the left. He dribbled himself through the defenders

it should be taught at football academies how this almost-40-year-old veteran passes, dribbles and conducts the team flawlessly, like a true professional

crossed to Bojinov in the middle. Bojinov shot from the goalmouth, but it was too high.

Grumpyhead Bojinov after he missed out the chance

Da Boss

In the 22nd minute we got a free kick on the right side. Golubović (if I could see well...) headed it to the box, the goalkeeper saved.
In the 24th minute we got a corner-kick, but Radnik-defenders sent it downfield. Or rather, they just wanted, because Vulićević arrived on the right with a slide-in and kicked the ball to the box with his sole (!). For Radnik’s great luck Vuković was still standing on the goal line and saved it, otherwise it would have been 0:1 at this point.
A minute later Saša Ilić possessed the ball. He forwarded it to Brašanac, Brašanac sent it to Mihajlović on the left. Mihajlović shot, it was too high.
In the 31st minute after a Brašanac-Mihajlović teamwork the young left-winger shot. The ball hit the upper arm of Surdulica’s defender (the slow motion replay clearly showed it), but the referee didn’t whistle for penalty. A minute later Bogosavac forwarded to Brašanac. Brašanac shot from the left, the goalkeeper saved.
In the 34th minute Stojanović got a long cross from deep, right at our penalty area. He headed it to the box, it was too wide.
In the 37th minute Vulićević was rudely kicked to the ground at the right side of Radnik’s penalty area. It was close to the line, but still inside, the slow motion replay confirmed it.
Well, not for referee Piper. He just waved "go ahead".
In the 39th minute Mihajlović shot from the corner of the penalty area, barely missing it. Then in the 41st minute again he possessed the ball. He ran up on the left and served it to Bojinov in the middle. Bojinov was standing at the penalty area line. He shot and succeeded to send the ball to the middle of the box. 0:1

The moment right after the goal

"Hey, you! You up there! Gimme back my chocolate now! See, I scored a goal!"

In the 45th minute Saša Ilić forwarded the ball to Brašanac. Brašanac crossed it to the middle, there Bojinov grabbed it and shot. The ball hit the goalkeeper and from him it dropped into the box. 0:2

Good boy, you can get a belly rub

In the second half nothing happened for quite a long time. We kept on attacking, sometimes Radnik also tried. After a while their attacks became more and more confident. There were still a lot of fouls, well, other than them there was really nothing to mention. Both teams ran a lot, but none of them had any attempts. It was going like this until the 58th minute, when Bojinov passed to Mihajlović. Mihajlović shot and the ball flew into the box, passing by the surprised goalkeeper. 0:3

The scorer

Radnik had their first mentionable attempt in the 60th minute, but the referee whistled it off for offside.

Saša Ilić got substituted in the 63rd minute. Surdulica-fans greeted him with loud applause, Mutavdžić gives him the five

;)

At this point Radnik was a bit more often on our half than earlier, but they didn’t mean any danger to our goal line. The pace slowed down after a while; we possessed the ball more but we couldn’t work out any attempt.
In the 68th minute Radnik got a free kick 25 metres from the box in the middle. After some pitter-patter Arsić shot and hit the left goalpost.
In the 73rd minute Deletić shot, it was too high. Still in the same minute Owusu ran up on the left and crossed to the middle, but the other Radnik-player, who received the ball shot it too high.
In the 78th minute Mihajlović got a pass from deep. He shot, right into the goalkeeper. The ball dropped to Lukić, but the attempt ended as a goal-kick.
In the 83rd minute Surdulica got a free kick. Deletić crossed it to the middle, Mutavdžić headed it to the box, it was too high.
In the 88th minute we got a corner kick. Šaranov punched it out, but the home team kept on possessing the ball. Marković was dribbling on the left, then he shot, Šaranov saved, but the ball droped to Mutavdžić. He shot, too, Šaranov again saved, finally Golubović kicked the ball downfield.
In the 90th minute Mihajlović ran up on the left side, then shot, it was too high. A minute later he didn’t miss it out though. Everton came up on the right with the ball and forwarded it to Golubović. Golubović crossed to Mihajlović in the middle. Mihajlović shot and scored a great goal. 0:4

Mihajlović shoots...

...then they can celebrate

FK Partizan - Radnik Surdulica 3:2 (superliga, round 28)

A terrible match against a weak opponent.
The problem is that this weak opponent could still lead for the entire first half.

Not sure if anyone noticed there’s no blogpost about the previous, 27th round. There won’t be any. On one hand I was overwhelmed with the championship title of the ice hockey team, on the other the football team played at the very same time as the ice hockey players (who organized it to be like this?...) and I saw approx. the last 25 minutes of the football match. Even those 25 minutes were so awful that later I had no energy enough to waste for the highlights. So, this 27th round is missed out, apologies if I don’t apologize.

Someone please tell me how we can produce such a horror game level, for weeks now. It’s a pain to watch these matches. Soulless, horrible play that lacks every kind of idea, boring ball-shuffling, scratching, anti-football. Even the infamously crappy Hungarian football is better than this. Shame, but that’s the truth.

10 minutes before the start. The stadium was this empty
(screenshot)

(photo: Twitter)

The official match report talks about 3000 spectators.
WHERE??? ON WHICH PLANET???

(screenshot/partizan.rs)

Since then this number raised to 5000.

What kind of hallucinogene drug is this? Can you give me the dealer’s phone number? I have to try out this stuff.

Update: there were really at least 2500 people in the stadium.

In the first minutes of the game a brass-band was playing in the guests’ sector. They made a carnival-alike atmosphere, being a million times more interesting than the game.

(screenshot)

It came to my mind, I should miss out writing even about this game. Seriously, what can you write about nothing?... Then I continued to make notes for the blogpost. I’m obviously a mazochist.

The 4th minute brought the first shy attempt. Bandalovski got a pass from Saša Ilić and forwarded the ball to Bogosavac, but the goalkeeper threw himself into the way.
In the 14th minute Radnik came up to a counter-attack after a weak shot by Brašanac. Deletić ran up with the ball on the right and crossed to Suraka. Šaranov threw himself into the way in the last moment.
In the 19th minute Radnik led another counter-attack after a corner. The cross came from the depth, first Deletić shot, but Šaranov performed a fantastic save. But then Owusu jumped out of the blue and headed the ball into the box next to Partizan’s goalkeeper, who slowly fell on the ground. 0:1
In the 21st minute Bogosavac passed to Mihajlović on the left. Mihajlović crossed to Stevanović in the middle, he had a try, but the goalkeeper saved. Corner-kick, the ball dropped to Mihajlović, he shot, too high.
Then we fumbled ahead. It’s sad, but even though we attacked more, Surdulica was still leading and our attempts were fruitless.  We played an entire half without any striker on the front line.
Though I think we would have played this very terribly even with striker.

I wonder why Fofana was called back to ul. Humska, when he is just a bench-warmer
(photo: partizan.rs)

Saša Ilić was a physical pain to watch. Independent of his performance in the 2nd half he plays more and more like a pensioner. Radnik-defenders tackled him easily, they might have even told jokes to each other.

In the 30th minute Jevtović got a pass in the middle. He shot from 20 metres, the goalkeeper had a great save.
In the 33rd minute we had two shots to the goal after a corner-kick within a few seconds. First Stevanović, then Saša Ilić, but both times a defender standing on the goal line cleared. Then the opponent ran up for a quick counter-attack. Owusu passed to Deletić, he immediately shot and scored. 0:2
It was especially painful that while Radnik had these very quick counter-attacks (they had yet another in the 45th minute, Marković ran up all alone, eventually he was inactivated), we were totally idle and were wandering around aimlessly. Just like at a 5th league old boys’ match. For the rest of the first half nothing ever happened apart from the counter-attack mentioned above. After the final whistle fans booed at the players walking off, screamed "Pustite nas da igramo" (Allow us to play) hinting that even they would have a better performance.
Then the players walked to the southern tribune instead of the locker-rooms and all we could see was them talking to the fans. (Then ArenaSport quickly switched to the replay of the first-half action.)

(photo: Twitter)

Still no info on what they were talking about, but they obviously didn’t exchange high fives and kisses.

At the beginning of the second half Mihajlović headed the ball towards the box after a corner-kick, a defender blocked. A minute later Suraka tackled Bogosavac (Partizan’s defender was fumbling too long, the Ghanian just walked there and stole the ball from him) and ran towards the goal. Finally Šaranov threw himself into the way.
In the 51st minute Vlahović got a pass from the left and headed it to the goal. The ball hit the crossbar.
Then 3 minutes later he could hit the box. Mihajlović crossed from the left, Vlahović raised high and headed. 1:2

It was his first ever goal for Partizan

(photos: partizan.rs)

A few minutes later Saša Ilić had a distant shot, the goalkeeper saved to corner-kick. In the 64th minute Mihajlović had another distant shot, hitting the right goalpost.
In the 65th minute Bandalovski passed to Saša Ilić. The Captain shot ruthlessly from 16 metres and scored. 2:2

(photos: partizan.rs)

In the 69th minute Radnik again had a very quick appearance at our penalty area, but this time we started a counter-attack after Šaranov saved. Mihajlović had the ball, he ran up with it and crossed. Saša Ilić arrived in the middle and scored. 3:2
The level of the game didn’t change despite that we switched the standing from 0:2 to 3:2. It was just beyond critics. Radnik seemingly resigned themselves to the defeat, while Partizan just shuffled the ball here and there, without any useful idea about what to do. The match did not contain any football, not even in traces. Alen Stevanović missed out a chance in the 78th minute (he shot too high after long fumbling), other than this nothing happened that is worth to mention. As if it weren’t a team with a victorious past, but a bunch of skinners who plays for the local off-league amateur team.

Yes, we won and everything, but our play still lacks any high standard (or even just standard)

FK Radnik - FK Partizan 2:2 (Jelen SuperLiga, Round 13)

Apologies for this belated blogpost, yesterday I couldn’t watch the game for technical reasons (in fact I could barely get near by any internet connection yesterday), so I write this blogpost only now, based on reports and video highlights.

Everything for you, dear Readers and Grave Diggers.

We walked out to the pitch of FK Radnik’s stadium, looked around and Stevanović scored already in the 8th minute, but even before he had two attempts. At the first, in the 4th minute Radnik lost the ball, a Partizan-player stole it and passed it to Stevanović on the left. He ran up and shot, the goalkeeper saved it to corner. Then in the 7th minute, if I could see well on the video, he and Bojinov kept on passing the ball to each other at Radnik’s penalty area

I didn’t see the shirt number of the other player clearly, but only Bojinov has these very flashy pink shoes

then Stevanović dribbled between two Radnik-defenders, then even a third one tried to tackle him, but failed. Then Stevanović shot, the goalkeeper had a great save.
At the goal Grbić ran up with the ball on the right, passed it to the middle, Stevanović thanked and headed it right into the net. 0:1

Grbić passes...

...Stevanović scores

In the 15th minute Radnik again lost the ball. Bojinov, about whom we could get to know that he had no idea where Surdulica can be found, but he likes Serbian music, most of all Ceca, Seka Aleksić and Sandra Afrika

you’re welcome for these extremely important infos

got it and ran up. He passed it to Stevanović, who was slaloming between two defenders, then almost fell on his face tripping over the goalkeeper. The attempt was eventually missed out.
Radnik’s first chance came in the 29th minute. Milovanović sent a distant, flat shot to our goal, but Živko Živković, who had a mud-bath in the entire first half, caught the ball.
In the 33rd minute again Grbić ran up with the ball on the right and passed it to the middle. Bojino was waiting there, he shot and scored. 0:2

"Hey, people, look at here, a miracle happened! I scored a goal!"

In the 37th minute Stevanović ran up with the ball on the left, then at the penalty area line he passed it to the middle (meanwhile he was swept over from behind by a defender, but referee Glođović didn’t really care). Subić got the ball, he passed it ahead to Grbić in the middle, but then the video highlights showed only a great goalmouth scramble, then someone kicked the ball out to the right, while Grbić fell on the ground, seemingly in pain. (The recording of SOS Kanal shows only Grbić clashing with a defender, but it can’t be seen whether the defender kicked the ball or Grbić’s ankle first.)

Radnik had an attempt in the 44th minute, Stanković shot from 20 metres, Živko Živković saved it. At the end of the first half Stevanović tried one more time, but Radnik’s goalkeeper was at his place.
In the second half Radnik reduced the difference in the 57th minute. Owusu got the ball and passed to one of the Stojanović’s, if I could see well. Stojanović passed it ahead to Stanković, the assistant didn’t wave offside, Stanković ran up and shot in the middle of the net, passing the ball near Živko Živković, who ran out of the goalmouth. 1:2
In the 60th minute Krstić got the ball and passed it to Stojanović into our penalty area. Stojanović shot, but it was too high. In the 66th minute Owusu got the ball and sent a distant, flat shot to our goal line, Živko Živković saved it. Then in the 68th minute, after a corner-kick Babović passed the ball to the middle. There Ostojić jumped up and headed the ball hitting the left goalpost with it.
In the 71st minute Owusu got the ball at the halfline and ran up, dribbling near Živko Živković, who ran out far from the goalmouth, even outside the penalty area. Then he passed the ball to Stanković, who ran up, left our defenders behind him including Partizan’s goalkeeper, who desperately tried to run back to the goal line. Stanković sent a bomb shot into the empty net of Partizan from 22 metres, and equalized. 2:2, I swear we deserved this goal, such a mistake can’t happen without consequences even at a U7-match.
Then not much later, after a Partizan-corner Radnik made a counter-attack. They ran up on the right, then the attacker suddenly stopped and passed the ball back to Stanković, who was a few steps behind. Stanković shot from 25-30 metres, it was too high.
In the 82nd minute Radnik again lost the ball. Babović grabbed it, pushed himself through 2 defenders and passed to Bojinov. Bojinov forwarded it to Ninković. Ninković dribbled, then shot from approx. 17 metres. The ball hit a defender and dangerously approached the goal line. Radnik’s goalkeeper made a great save.

Džigi, some time during the game

At the very end both teams had a weak attempt. Radnik’s attack was inactivated by Partizan-defenders, while at the other side Subić had a too high shot, from 5 meters or even less.
