FK Partizan - FK Voždovac 2:1 (superliga, round 35 - play-off, round 5)

We had a heavy start. In the first 10 minutes we got Voždovac stuck at their half, we practically made them play bunker football. In the 3rd minute Alen Stevanović ran up on the left and crossed to Lukić. Lukić shot almost from the baseline, the goalkeeper saved.

In the 6th minute Subić (who finally played again after a very long pause) passed to Bojinov. A Voždovac-defender tackled by sliding in, the ball hit his arm (the slow motion replay confirmed it), but the referee again didn’t whistle for penalty.
Voždovac could break out from the bunker in the 11th minute. They got a corner kick right there (which was inactivated by Partizan-defenders). From then on the match was less one-sided, yet it still lacked action. The teams were running all around, mostly on the midfield, sometimes one of them ran towards the box, but could barely make it further than the penalty area line.
In the 19th minute Subić crossed to the middle. Kosović was about to head it to the box, but a defender was quicker and sent the ball out through the baseline.
In the 22nd minute Golubović got the ball after a throw-in. He quickly crossed it to the middle, where Lukić headed it towards the box, but it was too wide. A minute later Voždovac’s Radin sent a sudden, distant shot to our box, it was too wide.
In the 29th minute Everton got the ball from Stevanović in the middle. He shot it to the box from at least 30 metres, the goalkeeper caught it.

Everton just had to pick a quarrel with the opponent’s player AGAIN. It was not the first time he started to push someone from the other team, while the (alleged or actual) foul was not committed against him, what is more, most of the time he wasn’t even there when it happened. Still he appears there and starts to push the opponent’s player around while cursing.
I also noticed, whomever we play against, no matter what is the standing of the game, after a certain time the opponent starts to grind Everton strategically. A kick here, a brunt there - it doesn’t matter as long as it makes him fall on the ground and he hits himself. It’s not less unsportsmanlike than Everton’s primitive and aggressive manifestations on the field, but nevertheless it’s not surprising at all. And it will continue as long as this Brazilian boor keeps up hthis attitude.

Other than this above nothing happened on the match. Voždovac got more and more closer to our penalty area, while we passed the ball backwards, having no better idea. At the very end in the 45th minute Bandalovski had a mentionable attempt, kicking the ball to the middle from a sharp angle, but the goalkeeper caught it.

Question of the day: why didn’t Aleksandar Subić get any chance to get into the starting eleven until now?
(He could be seen often on the bench, so he was surely not injured.)
Just because at this match he played very well. He had great crosses to the middle, he ran a lot and he was dangerous for the opponent’s goal as well. But even earlier, when he was (still) in the starting eleven, there was never any complain for his game. He is a defender, but he can play left-winger as well. He plays through the entire left side, he is also dangerous for the opponent’s goal. If he got much more chance, we could easily bring the best out of him.

We started the second half with a goal.
It was like in a comedy. Stevanović forwarded the ball to Subić on the left. Subić ran up to the baseline and sent it back to Bojinov. Bojinov wanted to shoot, but he hit Radojević instead, who arrived sliding in. He still wanted to pick the ball, but that rolled away from him. Golubović appeared, grabbed the ball and kicked it into the box. 1:0

After this Voždovac tried with a counter-attack. Mašović shot, it was too high.
In the 54th minute Voždovac got a corner-kick. After kicking the ball around it was Blagojević, who got the chance to shoot. It was too high (also, as if the ball had hit someone before flying out).
In the 58th minute Bojinov was tackled by the defenders. The ball rolled to Golubović, he immediately shot, the goalkeeper caught it. Still in the same minute Everton received the ball from the left. From him it was sent to Golubović again. Golubović again shot, missing the box with just a few centimetres.
In the 70th minute Saša Ilić shot from the middle, the goalkeeper easily caught it.

As slow as the game was flowing in the previous 10-12 minutes, it sped up as much for the last 20. In the 71st minute Srećković got the ball from Odita (the Nigerian player sent it backwards with an Oxford trick) and shot from 18 metres, missing the box barely. A minute later again Srećković made some unpleasant moments inside our penalty area, this time Šaranov stopped him. In the 73rd minute the guests got a free kick, almost at the left corner flag. Ivković sent the cross to the box, but it was too high.
In the 80th minute Mihajlović ran up with the ball on the left. He had a big solo, dribbled around then shot and scored a great goal. 2:0

Voždovac’s reply came two minutes later.
They got a corner kick. The cross flew through the goalmouth, Partizan’s entire defense just watched in shock. Kosović tried to do something, but the ball dropped to Mihajlov and he shot it into the box. 2:1
In the 85th minute Mihajlović ran up again on the left with the ball and crossed to Saša Ilić in the middle. He shot, the goalkeeper saved.
Voždovac had one attempt left in the extra time (90+4.), Stojanović shot, Šaranov saved.

FK Partizan - Novi Pazar 3:0 (Jelen SuperLiga, Round 18)

Apologies to everyone that I post the match report only now. Yesterday I was brought under yoke for the whole day. I could watch the game only today, ArenaSport broadcasted it as a re-run.
The two teams walked out to the field in heavy rain, in front of almost empty stands. The official match report talks about 1000 spectators altogether.

1000 (one thousand) people. Not more. Even in the southern tribune there was only a handful of fanatics.

Partizan dashed themselves against Novi Pazar at once. Right in the first minute Ninković ran up with the ball in the middle, but a defender tackled him. Novi Pazar led a counter-attack, but Kljajić caught the ball at the end.

Interesting, now, that Saša Ilić was the team captain, this backward-passing and fumbling all disappeared. We attacked, we ran, we were full of fire.

In the 7th minute Saša Ilić passed the ball to Bojinov at the penalty area line. Bojinov ran up, two defenders put him into a "sandwich", the Bulgarian fell on the ground. A minute later Subić sent a cross from the left to the other side, to Aboubakar. Aboubakar shot with a bicycle kick, it was too high.
In the 18th minute Saša Ilić gave a spectacular pass to Ninković. Ninković immediately shot, it was too wide. In the next minute again Saša Ilić passed, now out to the left side, to Subić. It was a genial movement, Subić dribbled himself through the defenders and shot, missing it barely.

Novi Pazar got stuck in their own half, they could get out of the bunker around the 24th minute. Kostić ran up on the left, but his attempt ended in a corner. In the 26th minute they got a free kick about 30 metres from our goal line. The shot was blocked by Ćirković.
In the 27th minute Aboubakar had the ball, sending a cross to Bojinov. Bojinov shot, it was too high.
In the 33rd minute Novi Pazar attacked again. Stevanović ran up on the left, then Vusljanin got the ball. Again Ćirković interfered.
A minute later Saša Ilić got a pass. He forwarded it to Bojinov, but the ball hit a defender and had a small curve, making Bojinov speed up to catch it. Bojinov did speed up, overtaking the player of Novi Pazar running next to him and walked into the net with the ball. 1:0

I don’t like this Bulgarian, to be honest. I find him slow and ponderous, meanwhile he is constantly showing off in social media and in the press. Now, maybe as the impact of Saša Ilić, or maybe not, Bojinov sped up. He ran, he dribbled, he gave passes and crosses and he even scored a great goal.

eventually he passed it to the middle. Aboubakar arrived, but the pass was too high for him.
In the 42nd minute Ćirković passed to Ninković. Ninković ran up on the left, dribbled himself to the middle, shot, Novi Pazar’s goalkeeper had a big save. The ball dropped to Babović, who slid himself into the middle, but his attempt was too wide.
In the 44th minute we got a free kick, 20-22 metres from the goal line, on the right. Babović stood behind the ball, but his shot hit the wall. The ball dropped back to him, Babović shot again, now it was too wide.
In the second half it was raining even heavier. In the 47th minute Bojinov got the ball in the middle, he shot, it was too high. In the next minute Novi Pazar attacked, Pavlović possessed the ball, getting a cross from the left. Pavlović shot, Kljajić caught it.
Then in the 49th minute Ninković passed to Babović in the middle. Babović passed back to Ninković. Džigi made himself a place to kick, then he sent a bomb shot from 17 metres right into the middle of the net. 2:0

At this point Partizan’s advantage was clearly visible. It was not even a question who was better.
In the 55th minute Novi Pazar missed out a big chance. Rušević sent a distant shot to the goal line. It was dangerous, barely missing our goal, Kljajić was very lucky.
In the 58th minute Bojinov got a pass. He ran up, sent a cross to the middle, it was a bit long, but Babović could save it before it would have rolled out through the baseline. He shot it back to the middle, Ninković arrived, but defenders cleared the area.
In the 59th minute Novi Pazar got a free kick 30 metres from our goal line. Kljajić saved.
In the 61st minute Andrija Živković joined the game after a long pause of injury (and other delays of different nature). He was greeted with applause and ovation by fans.

In the 74th minute Pavlović ran up and sent a cross to the right. Stevanović got it, he immediately shot it on the goal. The ball rolled ahead - even this scene was dangerous, but then Zilkić appeared out of the blue on the left, grabbed the ball and shot. Subić threw himself in the way, presenting the Save of the Year.

Subić had a great day. He played through the entire left side, he attacked, had attempts, meanwhile he had such life-saving moments. Keep up the great work!

In the 83rd minute Bojinov had a huge solo in the middle. He was surrounded by 4 defenders, but he could send a cross even from among them to Andrija Živković in the right side. Živković was overtaken by a defender, but Žile could still get back the ball. He shot, right onto the side net.
In the 85th minute Andrija Živković was on the right side with the ball. He forwarded it to Babović, Babović sent it ahead to Saša Ilić. Saša Ilić passed to Šaponjić with a small, delicate movement. Šaponjić shot, it was too high.
In the 86th minute we got a corner kick. Ninković got the ball, he kicked it to Andrija Živković in the middle. Živković shot, too high.
In the 89th minute Babović passed the ball to Andrija Živković, to the right side. Živković dribbled himself into the middle and shot, the goalkeeper had a great save.

It was already the very end of the game, when in the 90+2nd minute Vulićević tackled a Novi Pazar-player. He ran up with the ball and passed to Saša Ilić. The Captain forwarded it to Ninković, who arrived on the left side like a nuclear bomb. Ninković got it, shot it and scored. 3:0

Milorad Vučelić is the new president of Partizan sports society (also known as JSD Partizan).

I feel the same way as you now, dear Reader.

Former president Duško Vujošević’s mandate has been over, a new president, vice presidents and excecutive committe were elected. Due to rumours Vučelić was voted unanimously.
That Vučelić, who depraved the football team during his approx. 1-year reigning, who sold out the best players, who got Marko Nikolić discharged, who brought here Stefan Babović and Zoran Milinković, meanwhile the team reached its rock bottom, mostly morally, and is 17 points behind the team (I won’t say their name) that is leading the league table.
The vice presidents are Nenad Golijanin and Andrea Arsović.

I wonder who and how drew the otherwise successful sports shooter Andreja Arsović into it.

The members of the executive committee are Nenad Golijanin, Miloš Vazura, Zoran Popović, Vojislav Nedić, Miroslav Nedić, Mlađan Šilobad, Aleksandar Šoštar, Velimir Marjanović, Aleksandar Blagojević, Borko Drašković and Duško Jovanović.
You can really feel the mawkish fart-smell of the overlord/vassal/servant system.

FK Partizan - Rad 1:1 (Jelen SuperLiga, postponed match from Round 6)

It wasn’t even a catastrophe, it was some sort of surrealistic tragicomedy.
The stadium was again utterly empty. Upon official reports there were only 3000 fans in ul. Humska.
By the way, the joke of the day was this: someone hung this banner at the eastern tribune.

I send my greetings to the person who made it. My message to him/her: I wish I had this much spare time.
Then the boys walked out to the field. And something very strange happened.
First, they were all wearing this T-shirt, both the home team and the guests.

The text on the T-shirts says: "Ja volim Srbiju" (I love Serbia).
And after all these the two teams sang the Serbian national anthem.

Average Fan was just blinking, like a fish in the shopping bag.
Infos say from now on it will always be like this, whenever Partizan plays a home match. But there’s no info about why it’s good and whose idea it was, nor about other teams of the superliga, whether they plan to introduce it or it will be as an ul. Humska speciality.

Did you notice that there is a giant Serbian flag on the southern tribune? As if those fans had already known about what would be going on. But that’s still not all.

They had national flags besides the usual fan flags. But if you take a good look at them, you’ll see these are not Serbian flags.
These are Russian flags upside down.
I do not have the intention to discuss or even debate national/patriotic questions. As a foreigner, I don’t even have the right for that.
I just fucking hate when I’m taken as a fool and some people think they are allowed to do whatever they want.

Talking about the match, the first mentionable action came in the 6th minute. Vulićević ran up on the right side with the ball and forwarded it to Andrija Živković. Živković dribbled himself to the middle and shot, but it was too high. Rad started a counter-attack on the left. Đurić got the pass in the middle, he shot, it was too high.
In the 8th minute again Vulićević possessed the ball. He passed it to the middle, Bojinov was waiting for it there. He shot, but his kick was too weak, he missed it out.
In the 10th minute Rad got a free kick 30 metres from our goal line, on the right side. The shot was headed out by our defenders and we could run up for a counter-attack. Andrija Živković was rushing up with the ball on the left and passed it through to the other side where Aboubakar arrived, but a defender threw himself into the way of the ball. The attempt ended in a corner kick.
Even at this point you could see there was some glitch in the Matrix. Rad was possessing the ball for long minutes, passing and trying. As for us, well... we were running after them. We didn’t jump on their back to wrestle for the ball, we didn’t tackle, didn’t step into their way, acting as a dominant alpha male saying "hey, dude, gimme that ball right now, it’s not for little babies like you". Or something like this. But nothing of this kind happened... Finally in the 15th minute Babović was fumbling with the ball, then finally he could somehow pressure it into the middle to Aboubakar. Aboubakar shot, it was too high.
A minute later Jevtović shot from the distance, again too high.
In the 18th minute Subić ran up on the left and passed it to the middle. The goalkeeper caught it.

In the 20th minute Rad got a corner kick. The ball was shot into our goalmouth, Vidić rose up and plain and simply headed it into the net. 0:1. It’s just impossible. It can’t happen.
We didn’t have to wait too much for the equalizing. After the kickoff we ran up to Rad’s penalty area. There we got a free kick on the right side. The shot hit a defender and the ball fell into the goalmouth. After a goalmouth scramble Bojinov grabbed the ball. The Bulgarian shot and scored. 1:1

A minute later 3 players were kicked to the ground at the same time. Two Rad-players clashed while trying to catch the ball, one of them swept Fabricio away. The game was on halt for long minutes.

In the 28th minute Andrija Živković passed the ball to the other side to Aboubakar, but he was tackled by defenders. The ball dropped to Subić, he shot, but it was too high. A minute later again Andrija Živković had the ball. He dribbled, then passed to Bojinov, who was waiting in the goalmouth. Bojinov immediately got at least 5 Rad-players into his face, making a huge goalmouth scramble. Finally Bojinov could shot, but missed out. The ball dropped to Brašanac, he passed it back to Bojinov. Eventually Rad-defenders kicked the ball out of the penalty area.
At this point the usual order of the world seemed to settle back, even if a bit slowly. Partizan possessed the ball much more than Rad, we attacked, and even if we couldn’t score, we still dominated. In the 37th minute Vulićević got the ball and passed it to the middle. The goalkeeper caught it.
In the 41st minute Andrija Živković forwarded the ball to Aboubakar to the other side, but two defenders ran there and tackled the Cameroonian. A minute later again Andrija Živković was dribbling on the right side and passed to Babović. Babović, as usual, started to fumble, defenders easily tackled him.
At the very last minute of the first half Rad got a free kick, but the shot was caught by Živko Živković, who was surely getting totally bored up to this point.
As the team walked back to the locker room after the whistle, fans where booing. And there was still a lot to come...
At the beginning of the second half, in the 47th minute Babović passed ahead to Bojinov. Bojinov shot, but he was blocked by a defender.
Then came silence. Nothing ever happened for almost 10 minutes. Really nothing. There was some movement on the midfield, the two goalkeepers probably had a nap. Finally in the 55th minute Subić got fed up with this lukewarm footwash atmosphere and passed the ball to Bojinov. Bojinov shot, the ball hit the crossbar and dropped to Babović. He shot, but defenders blocked him. Then the goalkeeper caught the ball.
In the 60th minute Rad attacked on the left side. The ball was passed to the middle, right to Veselinović. He shot from 15 metres, but missed out.
In the 63rd minute Andrija Živković was dribbling on the right side. He passed to Babović in the middle. Babović shot, the goalkeeper saved.
In the 67th minute Rad made a pass to the middle from the right, but it caused no headache for Živko Živković.
We definitely possessed the ball more, we attacked more, but nothing worked. Partizan-players looked as if they were trying to find their way in a thick mist, not having any idea on what they should do. The tactics were seemingly built on one template: pass the ball out to the right to Andrija Živković, he runs up with it and tries to find his way to the middle, he is so good in dribbling anyway, and then whoever is there in the middle, shots it to the goal.
That’s it.

Hooray! It’s something even I could do. Please, can I be now the new coach of Partizan?

In the 70th minute Aboubakar got the ball from Babović. It was a long pass, but Aboubakar sped up, attacked the goal... and the goalkeeper had a great save.
I noticed with horror that our players don’t fight. They don’t want to die on the field. They play some terrible, pathetic alibi-football, passing backwards instead of attacking. For me personally it is especially painful, because back then this was the very reason why I got disappointed in Hungarian football for ever. The reason was this impotent, idealess anti-football. For God’s sake, you goddamned, wooden-legged rascals, fans love Partizan for their fighting spirit, that they run and battle until the final whistle, like lions, spitting out their lungs, putting their hearts out to the grass. But you are totally miserable, bringing discredit up to the black and white jersey. There’s no excuse for this. And it’s not only the shame of the players, but also of the trainers and everyone in the management, who all just scratch their fat asses, passively watching Partizan going down not just on the league table, but morally, too. No way you don’t see this, you rotten bastards. You do it on purpose. And you make scapegoat of the players.
Apropos: there was only one player at this game tonight who deserves to wear the Partizan-jersey.

Andrija Živković is the one and only who was running, playing and fighting for the whole time and he was the only who actually had idea of what he was doing. He was the only one who gave his heart and soul into this match, which match should have been won by us to 5:0 as a minimum. He was running, dribbling, doing free and corner kicks. He was also kicked numerous times, but he stood up and continued every time.
Now you stand up. I don’t care if you feel lazy or grumpy. Stand up and pay respect to him with a one-minute salute.
The others either faded away or played only for alibi.
Where was I?
Oh, yes. 77th minute. Andrija Živković shot, the goalkeeper saved. Corner kick. Žile shot, Šaponjić rose up to head it, but his heading was too high.
Fans were booing louder and louder.
In the 79th minute Andrija Živković passed to Šaponjić from the right, but it was either too long or imprecise for Šaponjić. The attempt was missed out.
In the 81st minute Rad attacked from the left side. Their attacker passed the ball through to the other side to Veselinović. He shot, Živko Živković saved.
In the 82nd minute we got a free kick. Babović stood behind the ball, shot to the middle, Šaponjić jumped up to head. Too high. Three minute later Subić sent a distant shot from the left, too high.
Fans were chanting "Uprava napolje".
In the 87th minute Denić ran up on the left, all alone, nobody ever bothered him doing it. He shot, right on the side-net. We immedately started a counter-attack. Andrija Živković passed to Ninković, Ninković shot, a defender blocked.
In the 88th minute Babović passed to Saša Ilić. Saša Ilić wanted to send the ball back to Babović, but defenders blocked him. The ball dropped to Andrija Živković, he shot, too high.
Partizan wanted to score by all means. We put Rad’s goalmouth under serious pressure, but with no result.
In the 90th minute Šaponjić got the ball from behind. He immediately attacked, shot, even scored, but the assistant waved for offside. The referee invalidated the goal.

We have no luck, damn it. After long struggling we finally push the ball into the net, but it’s still not goal, because it is in fact offside.

In the 90+4th minute we got a corner kick. Last chance... The shot arrived to the goalmouth, Šaponjić headed it to the goal, the goalkeeper caught it.
After the final whistle angry fans were chanting "Uprava napolje" for long minutes.
I put my hand on my heart and admit, no matter how much it hurts: Partizan didn’t deserve to win this game. It looked as if we defeat ourselves (regardless of the final result) with this terrible, horrible, outrageous play.
I have to admit another thing, even if it’s painful and humiliating: Rad was better than us tonight. They totally deserved that celebration they had after the match at the side of the field.

I’m firmly convinced that the truth must be spoken out, no matter how much it hurts. I’m aware that many don’t like it. But I rather choose pain than listening to lies with my head buried in the sand.

Highlights of the transfer market

It’s not that easy.
Monday (31st August) midnight was the deadline of closing the transfer window, and Partizan’s football team was racing with time. On Monday they signed 4 (four) players within 24 hours. The first one was Nikola Leković.  The left back is in fact on loan from Polish team Lechia Gdansk for a year. His shirt number will be No. 3...

...another left back, the former captain of Borac Banja Luka, Aleksandar Subić has signed for 4 years to Partizan. His shirt number will be No. 19...

...16-year-old Đorđe Jovanović, player of Partizan’s youth school has signed his first ever professional contract with the team...

...and finally, in the last minute Partizan signed Swiss-born Serbian national team winger Alen Stevanović, whose number will be No. 91.

Besides it was an open secret that Partizan, but most of all Zoran Milinković had wanted to sign Vojvodina’s midfielder, Mirko Ivanić. The team allegedly offered one and a half million (!) euros for him

where would they have taken that money from?...

but Vojvodina just rose and rose the price, finally at two million euros Partizan backed out of the debate. Though Miloš Vazura keeps on waving his flags that Partizan did not give up signing Vojvodina’s young talent.
The only weird part of it all is that nobody asked Marko Ivanić about it all.

Then there were those who left the team. They are out mostly on loan, but Ivan Petrović permanently left ul. Humska and signed to Borac Čačak. Nenad Marinković is on loan (at FK Voždovac), so is Miroslav Bogosavac (Teleoptik). There are rumours, that Novi Pazar was into getting Predrag Luka on loan, but Luka refused to accept the offer saying he rather fights ahead to get into Partizan’s starting eleven.
GIGARESPECT. This is Partizan-heart.

Upon some nasty rumours not only Predrag Luka but also Petar Grbić refused an offer to get on loan - and both players were allegedly punished by the team management for choosing rather Partizan than wearing another team’s jersey. If this is true, then I wish the entire management, every single one of them to get such a nasty diarrhea, in public, that even the closest toilet would be too far for them.

There’s a change in the basketball team as well. Milenko Tepić has left KK Partizan. The player’s contract has expired at the end of the previous season, still he started the preparations with Partizan. Now he has found a new team for himself, and it is not else than Greek team PAOK.
As soon as there is any official announcement, I’ll update the blogpost.
