Obligatory victory with the substitute team on a Tuesday afternoon training game.
The first memorable moment of the first half was in the 24th minute with a counter-attack by Žarkovo. Guzina ran up and crossed to the middle, Čudić was about to receive it, but the cross was a bit too long it ended with goal-kick.
Partizan was doing fine. Yes, we possessed the ball more, yes, we forced Žarkovo to play bunker football for most of the time. And yes, we had attempts. But either the goalkeeper saved or the defenders blocked us and in fact none of them were too spectacular. There was no pace and even less excitement (during the first half I blanked a rewritable CD, burned an ISO-file on it and still nothing happened on the pitch). We were passing the ball around and the whole picture of the game was totally dull including players.
The next memorable moment was when Vulićević got injured around the 30th minute and Milan Radin could debute.

Then we continued to pass around the penalty area. Sometimes we had a not too determined shot, but none of them were on target. Nothing else happened. In the 38th minute Jevtović thought to speed things up, he ran up on the right side, crossed, but Đurđić was too much behind. Then Mihajlović shot at the end of an attempt, it was too high.
We took the lead in the beginning of the second half. Bojinov, who functioned mostly as a success experience for Žarkovo-defenders in the first half (i.e. Žarkovo’s defenders could see that even a League 3 player can run off or tackle a Partizan-striker), so, Bojinov was especially lucky, because after a cross Đurđić forwarded the ball to him, the Sloth was at the right time at the right place and he succeeded not to shoot the ball out of the pitch from 3 stepts as he usually does, but instead he could force it into the box. 0:1 (Then he got a yellow card, because he made obscene gestures to Žarkovo’s fans. Very well, very well. Not just sluggish, but also a yokel. Bravo.)
Then... We were still around the penalty area, passing around, trying, but we could never finish any action. As if nobody had enough courage to shoot.
Yea. We had to sell out Kojić, Škuletić, Lazović, Šaponjić, Andrija Živković... shall I go on with the names? That’s what happens when a talentless, moron sports director signs players whose expiration date has passed long ago.
In the 69th minute Guzina shot too high after a throw-in. Then he tried again, attacked, the substitute’s substitute goalkeeper Stevanović (who was tolled from Čukarički to here, this was his first time in the starting eleven, right?...) ran out of the goalmouth and saved.
Then in the 71st minute Bojinov made a miracle. He scored another goal. Mihajlović crossed from the left, Bojinov made a fly-kick from a sharp angle and could kick the ball into the box. Sometimes he does surprise me by doing things that remind of football.
Žarkov had one more big chance in the 81st minute after a corner-kick. Guzina headed it, it was too wide, then in the 85th mintue Mihajlović shot from the distance, it was also too wide. Radin had one more try in the extra time (90+2.), too high, then the referee made our sufferings an end.

Despite the goal-rich result it was a slumbery passing-around. Even Mladost’s performance was not more than an "enough-for-a-training-game"-effort.

Everton killed a Mladost-player (i.e. kicked him to the ground brutally) already in the 8th minute. It was rough, it was the action of a true jerk. I hope Everton said a prayer for not getting a yellow card right there... Afterwards there was a questionnable situation, Đurđić fell to the ground inside Mladost’s penalty area. All slow motion replays from all camera angles showed Mladost’s defender deliberately pushing Đurđić, but the referee didn’t whistle. (Not much later Đurđević fell to the ground inside Mladost’s penalty area the same way, the referee’s whistle kept silent again.)
Leonardo tried to shake up the sleepy atmosphere in the 19th minute. We got a free kick, about 17-18 metres from the box. The Brazilian shot, it flew to the target, the goalkeeper had a great save.
We controlled the game, we possessed the ball, Mladost got stuck on their half, but all that was happening was just some passing-around lvl 5th league veterans. Jevtović had an attempt in the 22nd minute, it was too high. (But at least something happened...) In the 26th minute someone headed Janković’s free kick to the box, but it was way too high, while Jevtović got injured in the goalmouth scramble. He got medical attendance, but it took too long... Finally he got a bandage on his head and was taken off the pitch. (Saša Ilić substituted him.)
Later mozzartsport.com informed that Jevtović had to be taken to Vojnomedicinska Akademija to get professional treatment. He got a plaster on his injury, then he could leave the hospital. He is doing fine, thank you very much, but he will surely not be able to play for a while.

Other than this the game was such a boredom that Average Fan was rather browsing the news instead... In the 34th minute Leonardo shot from a sharp angle. It was a weak shot, the goalkeeper easily caught it. In the 38th minute we had another weak attempt, the goalkeeper again caught it. Yaaaawn... 40th minute, now Janković had a try, again the goalkeeper saved. Meanwhile it started to rain, players sleepily passed the ball around, sometimes we had a semi-serious attempt. Mladost got stuck at their half and they didn’t really want to break out.
Leonardo got fed up with this fumbling in the 45th minute. He shot a fantastic goal from a 17-metre free kick. The goalkeeper was just watching. 1:0

There’s nothing much to mention about the beginning of the second half. Both teams had one weak attempt, then all of a sudden Mladost got a penalty in the 56th minute.
I swear I didn’t see what happened. ArenaSport played it in slow motion quite a few times, but even the commentator sounded perplexed. Đurđić was supposed to do something (maybe he played handball?...) - I’m just guessing, as Đurđić got a yellow card right after the whistle. If anybody knows what actually happened, write it to the comment box, thanks in advance.

We took back the lead in the 60th minute. Đurđević scored an fantastic and cheeky goal, passing the ball above the goalkeeper. It was that kind of goal that makes every true football fan scream from amazement. It happened after a Mladost goal-kick. Đurđić grabbed the ball at the half-line and passed it ahead to Đurđević. Đurđević ran up and kicked the ball into the box, above the shocked goalkeeper. 2:1
That certain cheeky kick
Mladost had their biggest chance in the 62nd minute. Pejović headed the ball after a free kick, it was just a little bit too wide.
Mladost’s defenders fell asleep in the 67th minute. Leonardo took advantage and quickly grabbed the ball. He passed it to Bojinov, who just joined the game as a substitute. And this sloth was lucky enough to score a goal right from the first ball-touch. 3:1
It must be communicated with sign language as well (afterwards came the smoke signals, probably)
Mladost had a thin chance in the 69th minute, but Kljajić interrupted. Afterwards not much happened. Bojinov nevertheless - better to be safe than sorry - missed out two attempts. Leonardo also had one, he too missed it out.

I'm rolling on the floor from laugh.
It's unbelievable. You just browse through the headlines of news sites and the end-of-summer depression dissolves into thin air. Then in the next moment you fell off your chair. What an irony.
Bojan Šaranov leaves Partizan. Miroslav Radović is just a step away from leaving, and if rumours are true, Bojinov is also packing his suitcases.
Šaranov has signed to Qarabag in Azerbaijan. Radović is about to return to his former team, Legia Warsaw. (He was seen in Warsaw, it is only the question of time. Partizan has nothing against the transaction, Radović wants to get back to Poland as quickly as possible, or maybe rather he wants to leave the Serbian championship with this speed.)
Bojinov heard the call of an unnamed Turkish as well as an unnamed Greek team. Both are told to have a very tempting offer for the Bulgarian. Bojinov, according to Hotsport, has said farewell to Partizan-fans on his Instagram.
I still can’t believe it. The Butterfly-catcher, the Pensioner and the Show-off leave. Only these two Brazilians, Everton and Leonardo should be sold out, possibly to a faraway championship, e.g. to UAE or China. Then I may even be excited to see Partizan-matches, regardless of the low level.
To cut it short, I haven’t been this happy very long ago to see the selling of Partizan-players.

Lately I pretty much forgot to tell about the basketball team,
mea culpa
even though life hasn’t stopped around them for a minute. First, almost the entire team has left. The three Americans, Jones, Wilson and Williams all left right after the end of the season, as their contract expired. Aranitović and Cvetković have signed to Manresa (ESP), Murić left to Turkey, Magdevski is still on loan at OKK Beograd, Đumić has signed to Sloboda Tuzla. There’s no info about Vitkovac and Veličković, but their photos have been removed from Partizan’s website.
Those who are still KK Partizan’s players: Adin Vrabac, Mihajlo Andrić, Miloš Koprivica and Vanja Marinković. There are a few new signings, e.g. Branislav Ratkovica, Uroš Luković, Đorđe Majstorovic (from Metalac), Stefan Birčević (who was a national team member at the Olympic Games) and two Americans, Frank Robinson and William Hatcher.
What is more, if rumours are true, Saša Pavlović wants to return to Partizan.
The team is playing preseason friendly games now, then in autumn they will take part in the fresly founded basketball Champions League.
ABA League will kickstart on 1st October with two newbies in the championship, Karpoš Sokoli from Macedonia and Mornar BAR from Montenegro.
I’ll be honest: it’s a hell of a work to be enthusiastic about a team, where you could punch half the squad right in the face, because they don’t deserve to wear Partizan’s jersey. (Because they are talentless, soulless, second-rate players, just right now they are lucky or it’s merely by circumstances - whichever it may be, they will be men of no account anyway.) So, 4:0 this or that, I’m not dancing around from joy.
Those who regularly read this blog, know which player(s) I’m talking about. Those who don’t... well, never mind.
The game started with a small celebration. Branko Vućićević, Partizan’s treasurer will get retired on 1st September, the club said farewell to him now.
Afterwards it seemed this time the "full court press in the first 20 minutes"-tactics will bring their reward. Our first attempt came in the 3rd minute - the ball was crossed from left, Bojinov headed it, "zicer", 1:0.
The next attempt came around the 23rd minute. In between the two teams were running around, it seemed Rad attacked a little bit more, but there were no actual attempts on either sides. Even at this point the game was tensed, players kicked into each other a lot. Everton got a yellow card already in the 18th minute.
At games like this Everton reveals his jerk side (as well as how useless he can be). While Leonardo is totally neurotic who yells more than actually playing football.
Then in the 23rd minute, at our second attempt came another "zicer". Corner kick, Milenković headed it, 2:0.
In the 32nd minute hell broke loose. Leonardo got the ball at Rad’s penalty area line, he wanted to attack, but clashed with a Rad-defender inside the penalty area. The referee didn’t whistle for penalty kick.
ArenaSport replayed it in slow motion at least 4 times from more angles, from frame to frame. Honestly, even I couldn’t say whether it was really a penalty or not. From one angle it seemed that the defender stopped Leonardo with a bodycheck, so it was an offensive foul. From another it seemed that Leonardo ran into the innocent defender and fell on the ground. The devil is always in the details...
To cut it short, referee Simović did not point at the penalty mark, but waved "go ahead". Yet the game did not go ahead, because everyone started to yell. Partizan-players complained for penalty kick, surrounding the referee, later the 4th official as well.

Then Marko Nikolić also joined the discussion, and that was a big mistake. There’s no info about what he said to the referee (or what he didn’t), nevertheless the referee showed him the red card. Marko Nikolić had to leave the pitch.
Other than these there were two free kick, one for us in the 40th minute, one for Rad in the 43rd. Both missed. There were two nervous, tensed teams as well, kicking mostly each other instead of the ball.
Rad’s goalkeeper had his first actual save in the second half, when Bojinov shot in the 47th minute. (It was far not that dangerous though.) A minute later Bates was excluded from the game, after kicking off Everton. He already had a yellow card, he got his second one and had to leave the pitch. Free kick for Partizan. Leonardo stood behind the ball, he shot, the goalkeeper was just watching in amazement, 3:0.
Then in the 50th minute Uroš Đurđević (signed just a few days ago) debuted, substituting Bojinov.
At his first touch with the ball he ran up, shot, but the goalkeeper saved.
Rad’s biggest chance came - and was missed out - in the 55th minute.
Other than this they didn’t actually have any other chance...
Mladenović got a great pass, ran up, leaving Partizan-defenders behind. He arrived at our penalty area all alone, all doors and windows were wide open, Mladenović shot... and missed. It was too wide with just a few centimetres. Then Đurđević had two attempts, but the goalkeeper saved them.
I don’t say we played well, but at least we did it now without that nerve-racking minimalist style we practiced at the previous games. The match was tensed, nervous, maybe that’s why there was not that much idle time. We attacked, Rad got stuck at their penalty area for a while.
It was already the 79th minute, Partizan got 4 corner kicks in a row. Finally, after the 4th the ball was dropping around the penalty area like a pinball, then it dropped into the box from Radović. Literally. One very awkward goal. But it was inside the box. 4:0
Rad had one more very weak try in the 85th minute, then Stevanović shot once in the 88th, but it was too wide.

If we see the positive side, we won again.
If we see the less positive side as well: we won with one single goal and minimal fortitude. Players kept running all around, which was probably excellent to show they do have the physical level needed, but the efficiency was again level League 4. Some players STILL play alibi football.
Čukarički tried with a shot on target in the 4th minute, it was Radonjić, if I saw his shirt number well. And that was all the action for a good 15 minutes. We had an attempt in the 17th minute, Đurđić fumbled it away after a goalmouth scrumble, then Balažic shot, but he was blocked.
Čukarički’s goalkeeper had his first work to do in the 24th minute, when Everton wanted to stir things up at their goal, but he didn’t get further from "wanted". (He shot, but the goalkeeper saved.)
Other than this, nothing. Players were running around without actual attempt or combat. Čukarički played bravely, they didn’t switch to defensive football, but none of the teams could make it up to the other’s penalty area.
The 26th minute brought the surprise. Mihajlović crossed a free kick to the goalmouth, Bojinov was right there. Being there he headed the ball to the box, and the ball dropped inside. 1:0

Mihajlović missed out a giant chance in the 30th minute. Čukarički’s entire defense line had a momentary lapse of reason, finally one of them saved by sliding into the way in the last minute.
Radović again dissolved into thin air, Đurđić seemed so that he wasn’t even on the pitch. This guy is excellent in hiding away from the ball. He tried to act only once as if he was about to score a goal, some time in the 37th minute, but even then he was offside.
Then nothing happened. So much nothing that the wrestling competition on TV (Olympic Games!) was more exciting than this. At least those athletes were really fighting... While over here there was just a lukewarm-like-footbath, powerless game, typically that kind when the luckier team wins, usually with a suddenly "found" or gift goal.
The second half was not better at all. Lack of ideas, knocking the ball around, boredom.
The thing that totally freaked me out was that everyone kicked the ball just ahead. Nothing else. It’s something even I can do. Please, tell me, can I be in Partizan’s starting 11 next week?...
We could build up an attack in the 63rd minute with blood, sweat and tears. Balažic headed it towards the box, too high. In the 71st minute substitute player Stevanović missed out a "zicer", goalkeeper Petrić had a great save. Not much later Milenković headed the ball after a corner kick, again Petrić saved, possibly even bigger.
The pace sped up maybe for the last 10 minutes, the game became fair.
No, not "good". It wasn't good. It was relatively fair, on the lower side. But at least it wasn't that nerve-rackingly boring.
Čukarički attacked, they tried to grab at least one point, then Partizan also tried to build up more attacks, to make their position fixed. It brought one attempt on both sides, first came in the 85th minute for Partizan, when someone in the goalmouth scramble pushed Balažic’s free kick with head, but Petrić saved it.
I hope he gets for this performace today at least a marble plate in Banovo Brdo.
Then Jovanović headed the ball towards the box in the 90th minute, barely missing it.

Marko Nikolić, former and current head coach of Partizan returned to the bench at this game. As a kind of special celebration, Vojvodina put the "cheapest on sale" price tag on the team.
Three goals. That’s how many they scored to us. Just to prevent us from falling into the trap of overconfidence.
What could one expect from a team where the starting eleven includes Valeri "Sloth" Bojinov, Miroslav "Pensioner" Radović, Gregor "Last time I played was 2 centuries ago" Balažic, Alen "Pathetic" Stevanović and Darko "Seriously out of shape" Brašanac?...
The first goal was scored in the 6th minute by Vojvodina. Honestly... It was a top class goal by Dejan Meleg. He tricked the entire Partizan defense line including Bojan Šaranov (the latter one surely didn’t know where was north and south...) then passed the ball above the heads right into the box. Stevanović was standing on the goal line and desperately tried to head it out, but instead he headed it even deeper into the net. 0:1
In the 10th minute Bojinov again, once again missed out a giant chance. All doors and windows were open, and he hit the crossbar from a few metres. If he happened not to miss out attempts, then he either got stuck in offside position every goddamn time, or he was slower than a sloth.
If we happened to attack at all. It happened a few times, and it seemed as if there was a tiny bit more spirit in them than at previous games. Still all these attempts and attacks were unsuccessful. Vojvodina’s goalkeeper was totally jobless, their defense line blocked all our actions.
The 29th minute brought the second goal by Vojvodina. One of them easily tackled Everton, then Paločević shot from the left corner of the penalty area while running past Gogoua, as if Partizan’s defender had been a lamp post, finally he kicked the ball into the box. The ball flew past the falling Šaranov and landed in the bottom right corner. 0:2
Gregor Balažic some time during the game. He was ran off by Vojvodina’s attackers
In the 43rd minute Bojinov missed out the greatest chance of the entire game by attempting from three steps, but the goalkeeper saved right on the goal line.
Vojvodina immediately came up with a counter-attack, Trujić tried, Šaranov saved.
Nikola Trujić and Gogoua. Partizan’s former striker had a great game, he attacked, ran and fought a lot. That person who formerly told that he was "too much" for Partizan, here is a message: may a brutal diarrhea catch you at a public place
In the 51st minute there was a questionable situation, when Brašanac fell on the ground at Vojvodina’s penalty area line. Many complained for penalty, but the referee waved "go ahead".
I found no slow motion replay or analyzing about it. But even if it had been a penalty, it wouldn’t have changed the final result.
We could force the ball into the box in the 63rd minute. (aka we scored) Bojinov got the ball from Vulićević, it was the most unmissable chance of all unmissable chances - though Bojinov had missed out countless chances that were thought to be unmissable. Nevertheless this time he was lucky, because he could head the ball into the box. 1:2
Yet at the upcoming attempt he got stuck in offside position, probably he didn’t want to fall out of shape.
In the 65th minute Radović landed on the ground inside Vojvodina’s penalty area. The referee again waved "go ahead", and he was right. The slow motion replay clearly showed that it was NOT a penalty.
Our attacks were still blocked by Vojvodina defenders, and as a punch line they scored again in the 75th minute. Trifunović was hanging around all alone, he immediately got a cross right there. No flag up, Trifunović ran up leaving behind our entire defense line. Then he dribbled Šaranov, shot and scored. 1:3
At this point I turned a bit lower the volume of the stream and turned on the TV, where the Olympic Games were broadcasted live. There was a table tennis game running, but even that was more exciting than this crap.
For the rest of the game we were fumbling. We didn’t have many attempts, and even those we had were blocked. In the 80th minute I could see disappointed fans slowly starting to leave the stadium... It was like a salvation when the referee whistled off the game.

We were a pile of shit. A pile of soulles, talentless monkeys with no ideas and no balls.
We deserved it.
There's no place for excuses. Nobody cares that the pitch was terrible, nobody cares about the referee's possible mistakes. Normally we should have won with 3-4 goals.
After all, what the hell did we expect? The team has been suffering from a heavy lack of strikers and goals, but fear no more, Ivica Iliev came up with the Big Solution. He signed another goalkeeper. Well done, idiot.
The first goal was scored by Napredak from penalty in the 19th minute. Šaranov fouled Gobeljić at the goalmouth, the referee’s decision for penalty was absolutely right. (The slow motion replay confirmed the foul.) Šljivić stood behind the ball, he shot and scored, as it should be. 1:0
Here we kept on trying. At the 23rd minute Mihajlović had an attempt, goalkeeper Petrović made a big save.
He was the only one who had ideas about what to do and how
Other than this Leonardo sent a free kick right to the crossbar in the 44th minute.
That's all about the first half.
The second half was even worse.
There was nothing. NOTHING. No shoot on target. No fight. No winning mentality. No running, no pace, no attack. Nothing.
Well, maybe there was a little bit of attack, or at least something that reminded of attacking (watching from distance with eyes half closed). Mihajlović ran up here and there on the left, but even he couldn’t do miracle among those fumbling handicapped ducks.
Gogoua = a miserable pile of crap Everton = primitive idiot Janković = overly neurotic Leonardo = butterfly fart Vulićević = getting slower and slower (this last one especially makes me sad...)
Then the (non-existing) pace slowed down and turned into the most annoying knock-the-ball-around game. Prva Liga feeling... (but I'm sure even in the 2nd Serbian league there are more exciting games than this). And please, someone tell me why Mihajlović had to be substituted and especially why was Bojinov his substitute?...
Napredak’s 2nd goal came in the 71st minute. Projić shot a, well, let’s be honest, a fantastic cannon shot goal from the left corner of the penalty area. 2:0
We had a huge chance in the 82nd minute. Janković shot, but the goalkeeper saved it. Then the last 7-8 minutes were spent with desperate Partizan-atttempts. Its only result was a penalty in the 87th minute, after Šljivić thwarted Saša Ilić at the baseline

As the result of the defeat and especially the terrible, atrocious performance head coach Ivan Tomić has resigned right after the game. There are no infos yet about his possible successor.
I feel for Tomić. Even a level Mourinho coach couldn’t have brought out any better performance from this line-up. This was the only possible step he could make.

Update: upon the informations of mozzartsport.com the management would like Marko Nikolić to return to Partizan’s bench. The two other possible candidates are Vuk Rašović and Zoran Milinković.
Okay. Now wake me up, because this is surely a nightmare.
Internet provides you wondrous things. You just connect, go through the news headlines and you can see miracles bigger than any Harry Potter-stuff. I'm not sure though if that's the best timing for them, just a few days before the start of the superliga, when we are about to play the return match against Zaglebie, especially after the first game that didn't really went the way we wanted to say the least.
As we could find out from the news stream, freshly signed Brazilian midfielder Leonardo will not play at the return match against the Poles. He didn't play at the first game either, and it very much seems so that he won't play any games in the near future. The reason (according to mondo.rs) is that Leonardo is out of physical shape so much that he couldn't be able to endure for 90 minutes.
He terminated contract with his previous team Anzhi Makhachkala this February. Since then he didn't play a minute - there are no infos whether he ever trained in the meantime or not at all. The question raises, who and why wanted to bring a seriously out-of-form player to Partizan, for whom it will probably take weeks to get back to shape.

Earlier reports told that it had not been easy to sign Leonardo, it took time to convince him to come to Belgrade. Finally he agreed after long negotiations to sign for 3 years. Upon press informations it was Ivica Iliev (who else...) who forced to sign the Brazilian. Iliev told about it all around how much he'd like Partizan to have a "classic No. 10 player", and for some unknown reason he saw his dreams come true in Leonardo.
After all these we got a player compared to whom even I'm in a great shape.
I'd like to see Iliev's face, after he got to know what kind of deficiences the Brazilian have. Just for the sake of it.
By the way, talking about classic No. 10 players, let me suggest a few of them to Monsieur Iliev. Perhaps we could sign one or two of them.

rumours speak that it's not a new thing at all, he had wanted to find a new team for himself during the winter preparations already. It has been told that the last straw for him was Vulićević getting to the starting 11 against Zaglebie instead of him
while Bojinov was practically yelled off by Ivan Tomić in the locker-room after the Saturday training. One of the reasons was that the Bulgarian is still overweighted, the other reason was discreetly mentioned as "tactical conceptions",
I can imagine. I’m probably not the only one who noticed that Bojinov’s pace would be enough for a League 5 veterans’ game, maybe
mondo.rs mentioned though that Tomić gave out the order to find a striker before the end of the transfer window.
And here comes the punch line. I kept it for the end of this post on purpose.
Partizan’s management gave out a press release about the stadium’s renovations in the near future according to UEFA’s current regulations. To make these renovations possible, the team needed financial support from the Serbian Football Association (FSS). They got it - and the management is now giving thanks to FSS’s president, Slaviša Kokeza,
that Slaviša Kokeza, who was Crvena Zvezda’s vice president not so long ago.
Aren’t they cute?... Let’s wipe off the tears from our eyes that ran out by these so heavy emotions.

All the devils of technology conspired against this blogpost. My net connection has been on the verge of death again for days, and it just had to collapse yesterday right when the match had started. It was so disastrous that I couldn’t download Partizan’s live score page either. I could watch the game only now, at this link.
No photos were taken at the game. I found none at Partizan’s website, nor on their official Facebook-page. No idea how it occured, nevertheless I brought you a few screenshots.
Both teams started very hard, with lots of fouls. As if Surdulica’s players had got the command before the game to kill everyone from Partizan. We got a free kick in the 2nd minute after one of these fouls, about 22 metres from the box. Mihajlović shot, the goalkeeper caught it.
In the 6th minute Brašanac got the ball on the left. He ran up with it and shot from a sharp angle. The goalkeeper caught it. A minute later Bogosavac crossed to him. Brašanac ran up on the left, crossed to the middle, where Bojinov was fumbling too long, Radnik-defenders tackled him. Saša Ilić tried to save the day, his attempt ended with a corner kick.

but the goalkeeper was faster than this sloth caught the ball before the Bulgarian could have reached it. Radnik started a counter-attack. Deletić got the ball on the right, he ran up with it, shot, but it was way too wide.
Apart from this one attempt Surdulica was stuck on their half. They could break out some time in the 14th minute. Owusu got a huge cross at our penalty area. He shot, it was too high.

In the 22nd minute we got a free kick on the right side. Golubović (if I could see well...) headed it to the box, the goalkeeper saved.
In the 24th minute we got a corner-kick, but Radnik-defenders sent it downfield. Or rather, they just wanted, because Vulićević arrived on the right with a slide-in and kicked the ball to the box with his sole (!). For Radnik’s great luck Vuković was still standing on the goal line and saved it, otherwise it would have been 0:1 at this point.
A minute later Saša Ilić possessed the ball. He forwarded it to Brašanac, Brašanac sent it to Mihajlović on the left. Mihajlović shot, it was too high.
In the 31st minute after a Brašanac-Mihajlović teamwork the young left-winger shot. The ball hit the upper arm of Surdulica’s defender (the slow motion replay clearly showed it), but the referee didn’t whistle for penalty. A minute later Bogosavac forwarded to Brašanac. Brašanac shot from the left, the goalkeeper saved.
In the 34th minute Stojanović got a long cross from deep, right at our penalty area. He headed it to the box, it was too wide.
In the 37th minute Vulićević was rudely kicked to the ground at the right side of Radnik’s penalty area. It was close to the line, but still inside, the slow motion replay confirmed it.
Well, not for referee Piper. He just waved "go ahead".
In the 39th minute Mihajlović shot from the corner of the penalty area, barely missing it. Then in the 41st minute again he possessed the ball. He ran up on the left and served it to Bojinov in the middle. Bojinov was standing at the penalty area line. He shot and succeeded to send the ball to the middle of the box. 0:1

In the second half nothing happened for quite a long time. We kept on attacking, sometimes Radnik also tried. After a while their attacks became more and more confident. There were still a lot of fouls, well, other than them there was really nothing to mention. Both teams ran a lot, but none of them had any attempts. It was going like this until the 58th minute, when Bojinov passed to Mihajlović. Mihajlović shot and the ball flew into the box, passing by the surprised goalkeeper. 0:3

At this point Radnik was a bit more often on our half than earlier, but they didn’t mean any danger to our goal line. The pace slowed down after a while; we possessed the ball more but we couldn’t work out any attempt.
In the 68th minute Radnik got a free kick 25 metres from the box in the middle. After some pitter-patter Arsić shot and hit the left goalpost.
In the 73rd minute Deletić shot, it was too high. Still in the same minute Owusu ran up on the left and crossed to the middle, but the other Radnik-player, who received the ball shot it too high.
In the 78th minute Mihajlović got a pass from deep. He shot, right into the goalkeeper. The ball dropped to Lukić, but the attempt ended as a goal-kick.
In the 83rd minute Surdulica got a free kick. Deletić crossed it to the middle, Mutavdžić headed it to the box, it was too high.
In the 88th minute we got a corner kick. Šaranov punched it out, but the home team kept on possessing the ball. Marković was dribbling on the left, then he shot, Šaranov saved, but the ball droped to Mutavdžić. He shot, too, Šaranov again saved, finally Golubović kicked the ball downfield.
In the 90th minute Mihajlović ran up on the left side, then shot, it was too high. A minute later he didn’t miss it out though. Everton came up on the right with the ball and forwarded it to Golubović. Golubović crossed to Mihajlović in the middle. Mihajlović shot and scored a great goal. 0:4

If I were for Iliev, I’d be careful with saying such things. Who knows, one day Čukarički might knock the door of ul. Humska 1 in the company of a Pini Zahavi-alike Croesus, throwing a suitcase on the table saying 'hey, here are the 10 milkos, now we'd take the kid, thxbai'. A message to Mihajlović: learn from the Živković-case, boy. If there’s anything nobody is interested in, that’s what you yourself would like to do.
Well, I will surely not cry after Bojinov. Leković hasn’t played enough to be able to say anything on him. The rest will be missed.
After all these the team surely prepared with joy and confidence against Čukarički.

10 minutes before kick-off

After the kick-off Čukarički immediately started to attack. It was clear they mean no-nonsense and they want our scalps. They attacked already in the 2nd minute. Pavlović got the ball, it was dangerous, but the referee whistled it off, because Pavlović pulled Milenković on the ground while attacking. Two minutes later they appeared again at our penalty area. A cross came from the right, Šaranov again caught butterflies
is it really necessary that he drops the ball at least once in every match, while the opponent is crowding with full force in the goalmouth?...
then for the next try he could catch it. We had great luck for not receiving a goal.
In the 5th minute Mihajlović was tricking with the ball on the left, then he shot, the goalkeeper saved. Two minutes later again he shot, now getting a pass to the left from Bojinov in the middle. His shot missed the box with just centimetres.
In the 8th minute a Čukarički-attack arrived from the right. Nikola Janković (if I’m not wrong) crossed it to the middle, from there Jovanović get it on the left. Jovanović shot, barely missing it.
In the 11th minute Čukarički got a free kick, almost at the baseline, with just 1-2 metres from the left side of the penalty area. The cross came, Đurić took it by the head, forwarding it to Branislav Janković. Janković shot fron only 2 steps and scored. 0:1

In the 16th minute again Branislav Janković got a huge pass. He ran up on the left, with Bandalovski behind him. He then shot, the ball hit Šaranov, ending the attempt in a corner-kick.
In the 20th minute Bandalovski possessed the ball on the right. He attacked the middle, then passed to Bojinov. Bojinov sped up, ran by the goalkeeper and shot into the box from a sharp angle. 1:1

In the 23rd minute we got a corner kick. There came the ball, making a big goalmouth scramble. Partizan-players all complained that someone from Čukarički played handball, but the referee didn’t whistle.
This scene has been cut from the superliga’s official highlights. On Youtube it’s available, here you can see it. ArenaSport’s slow motion replay clearly showed Čukarički’s player hitting the ball with his hand.
The atmosphere on the field became tensed. The pace was medium, yet Čukarički kept the ball surprisingly well.
In the 30th minute Milenković... well, there’s nothing to attenuate it. Milenković brutally kicked off Bojić, so heavily that Čukarički’s player had to come off the field. The referee showed the red card to Milenković.

In the 33rd minute Mihajlović ran up on the left. He made a great solo, dribbled then shot, it ended in a corner-kick.
In the 38th minute Nikola Janković kicked off Everton. The referee showed the red card him, too.

There was only one action left for the first half. Bogosavac got the ball on the left and shot from a sharp angle, the goalkeeper saved.
For the entire game Grave Diggers were chanting, firing up the southern tribune. Sometimes they made a much more spectacular sight than the often slow and struggling game.
Čukarički started the second half as well with attacking. A cross came from the left, Pavlović headed it to the box, but it was too high. A minute later Kosović passed the ball to Everton. The Brazilian shot from the right, it was also too high.
In the 49th minute we got a free kick at the left side of the penalty area line. Mihajlović passed it to Bogosavac, the young defender shot, it was too high.
In the 53rd minute Stevanović passed to Mihajlović in the middle. He immediately shot from approx. 16 metres, missing it with just centimetres again. In the 59th minute Saša Jovanović had a distant shot to our box, it was too high.
In the 65th minute Bojinov got a huge pass. After some goalmouth/penalty area scramble he shot from the left, barely missing it. A minute later Matić sent a flat, weak shot to our box, it was too wide. Another minute later Čukarički had another attempt, Šaranov saved.
In the 68th minute Bogosavac had another attempt. Mihajlović ran upfield, but he was tackled. The ball dropped to Bogosavac, but his shot was too wide.
In the 70th minute we got a free kick on the left side, 25 metres from the goal line. Mihajlović shot it right into the wall, but the ball dropped to Marko Jovanović. He shot, it was too high.
In the 76th minute Pavlović was wrestling with two Partizan-defenders, then he fell on the ground inside the penalty area. The referee didn’t whistle for penalty shot.
I have to mention nevertheless that Pavlović gave himself the starting kick with a fantastic Oxford-trick. Hats off, I have never seen anything like this yet.
In the 79th minute Brašanac passed the ball to Golubović on the right. He crossed it to the middle, the defenders headed it out. Corner-kick, again Golubović got the ball. He again crossed to the middle, but there Lukić kicked into the air instead of the ball.
In the upcoming minutes we constantly tried to attack, but they were all blocked by the defenders. Finally in the 85th minute Vlahović got a cross from the left, which he tried to head into the box. He wasn’t successful, the ball dropped to Lukić. He tried, too, without success.
In the 90th minute we got a corner-kick. Bandalovski headed it to the box, but the goalkeeper saved. Čukarički started a counter-attack. Knežević ran upfield on the right side and crossed to Pavlović in the middle. Pavlović thanked it and shot it ruthlessly into the box. 1:2

This was that match when I seriously asked myself why I’m doing this. Why I undergo this torture over and over again to watch terrible, awful football games, where nothing ever happens out of boredom. Why I’m watching stuck-up, talentless monkeys and fumbling little beginners, when I could watch a thousand times better games with much higher standard, professional players and professional coaches. And especially why I’m getting upset and mad over and over again by the disgusting level of the games, the absolutely amateurish attitude of players and managers, while I should just look around to find countless other football matches, where everything is about the fans and to make them feel good and special.
I’m very seriously considering to give up writing about football matches for a while. I’m fed up with this amateurism and I’m not willing to write about it, while the team is on the level of garbage, mentally and morally. I’m not willing to give my (nick)name to this, nor to invest any more energy into it than it deserves.
Of course I’ll keep on watching football games, I just won’t write about them.
Even at the beginning of the game the team was like eleven sloths on the field. They were slow, they were fumbling, they were just passing the ball here and there, even at this point it came to my mind that I should switch to another stream link where a Bundesliga-derby was running.
To all those who are about to yell me off: I’m a Partizan-fan and Partizan above all, but I’m not that perverted to deliberately torment myself.
Then in the 5th minute a miracle happened.
Šatara wanted to tackle Mihajlović, but instead he kicked Partizan’s player on the ground inside the penalty area. The referee immediately pointed at the white dot.

Bojinov stood behind the ball. The teammates probably allowed him to do so just because to be able to score and then to celebrate himself on Instagram.

It did not make the pace any faster, nor - God forbid - the level any higher though.
Why would it?...
In the 7th minute Mladost got a free kick, approx. 25 metres from the box. If I could see well, it was Gavrić, who shot. Šaranov saved.
In the 13rd minute Everton got a pass on the right side from Gogoua. He ran up, shot, missing the goal line just with centimetres. A minute later we started a counter-attack after a Mladost-attempt. Everton tried again, but he was tackled. We still wanted to continue, but Bojinov (as usual) got stuck in an offside position.
Then an incident happened. (I’m not sure though if it was at this point or later during the first half.) In the western stands fans attacked the team’s management sprawling sitting in the VIP-lounge. Literally they attacked them. Suddenly they jumped up and started to throw eggs on the presidency, while others were chanting "Uprava napolje".

They deserved it.
There’s a video about it, too. (It’s worth to watch and listen, even if you don’t speak Serbian, you can hear other fans cheering as the management gets showered by extra protein.)
Seriously, this was the top moment of the match.
Otherwise, nothing ever happened. We attacked, we possessed the ball more than the opponent, but we couldn’t build up one single useful attempt. The pace was very slow, it all looked like both teams hated it and wanted to get over it as soon as possible.
In the 21st minute someone headed the ball too wide after a Partizan corner kick. In the 27th minute Gogoua sent a painfully imprecise cross ahead. He wanted to forward the ball probably to Kosović, but the goalkeeper caught it with no special effort.
In the 29th minute Everton had the ball and could run up. He passed to Bojinow, who forwarded it to Mihajlović. Mihajlović attacked, the goalkeeper threw himself into the way.
In the 31st minute Mladost had a very weak attempt. Jovanović tried with a shot-alike action, but it died away in Šaranov’s hands. A minute later Bojinov possessed the ball and ran up towards Mladost’s goal line. Then Mihajlović continued with the ball, he shot, the ball hit the goalkeeper, corner kick.
In the 36th minute Mladost could have scored a goal, but Milosavljević touched the ball with his hand before shooting, the referee invalidated the score.
In the 42nd minute Kosović tried with a terribly weak shot, it was way too high. Then in the 45th minute Everton ran up with the ball on the right and served it with a cross (on a golden plate, wearing tuxedo and bow tie) to Bojinov. The Bulgarian just had to walk into the box with it. 2:0

In the second half, at the 48th minute Bogosavac got the ball after a corner kick. He crossed it to the middle, but nobody knows what he wanted with it, because it was way too weak for a goal attempt, and way too imprecise for a pass. Finally the goalkeeper caught it.
In the 54th minute Bogosavac tackled a Mladost-defender and forwarded the ball to Mihajlović. Mihajlović ran up, shot, the goalkeeper had a great save.
A minute later Miroslav Vulićević appeared at the sideline as a substitute player. He joined the game after a long time of absence.

In the 57th minute Mladost’s goalkeeper again had a great save, now it was Bojinov’s try.

The next action came in the 74th minute, but then it was another goal. Everton ran up again with the ball, crossing it out to the left. It arrived back from there to the middle. Vlahović got it, he forwarded it to Saša Ilić, and the Captain calmly shot it into the net from 16 metres. 4:0

Mladost had something that looked to be an attempt in the 78th minute, but it caused absolutely no headache for Šaranov.
The end was a physical pain to see. Nothing ever happened, only total boredom.
I swear, if I wasn’t a Partizan-fan, I’d say it was a bribed game. Not just this one, but even the previous ones. We won with goals on terrible games. I can’t believe Mladost (and the other opponents) couldn’t attack us with a blood-thirsty grin seeing us fumbling around, without any ideas. Seriously, did nobody notice that our opponents practically let us win? Just one more thing: next week will be derby week, as the first round of the play-off. Nobody should ever try to tell me that this ass-scratching and fumbling will be enough against Crvena Zvezda. Either we pick ourselves together or it will end up in a huge fiasco, because those in the neighbourhood want our blood and scalp.
In the 87th minute it could be considered as an event that Mladost’s goalkeeper had to undergo a small medical assistance. The guests had two more attempts, the first in the 88th minute, when they sent a 30-metre free kick up in the sky. Then they had something looking like a try in the 90th minute. Finally, after 3 minutes of extra time the referee ended our sufferings.
