Ivan Bandalovski has officially left Partizan. The defender said farewell to the team and the fans on Instagram.
"Today is one of the most difficult days in my life. I spent one and a half wonderful years at my beloved team, where I focused all my energies to the field, I gave all my might to every kick, every goal and every point achieved. I'm proud to win the League and the Serbian Cup with these boys, to play in European competitions. I'll never forget these, nor will I forget the applause and support of the Southern Tribune! I'm proud of every moment I spent on the field in front of the Grave Diggers. Life is unpredictable and you have to be ready for a new journey. My suitcases will be full of love for Partizan and with the most beautiful memories. It's not a final goodbye, just a greeting, because for me you are the greatest fans in the world! Forward, Partizan, til victory!"

Internet provides you wondrous things. You just connect, go through the news headlines and you can see miracles bigger than any Harry Potter-stuff. I'm not sure though if that's the best timing for them, just a few days before the start of the superliga, when we are about to play the return match against Zaglebie, especially after the first game that didn't really went the way we wanted to say the least.
As we could find out from the news stream, freshly signed Brazilian midfielder Leonardo will not play at the return match against the Poles. He didn't play at the first game either, and it very much seems so that he won't play any games in the near future. The reason (according to mondo.rs) is that Leonardo is out of physical shape so much that he couldn't be able to endure for 90 minutes.
He terminated contract with his previous team Anzhi Makhachkala this February. Since then he didn't play a minute - there are no infos whether he ever trained in the meantime or not at all. The question raises, who and why wanted to bring a seriously out-of-form player to Partizan, for whom it will probably take weeks to get back to shape.

Earlier reports told that it had not been easy to sign Leonardo, it took time to convince him to come to Belgrade. Finally he agreed after long negotiations to sign for 3 years. Upon press informations it was Ivica Iliev (who else...) who forced to sign the Brazilian. Iliev told about it all around how much he'd like Partizan to have a "classic No. 10 player", and for some unknown reason he saw his dreams come true in Leonardo.
After all these we got a player compared to whom even I'm in a great shape.
I'd like to see Iliev's face, after he got to know what kind of deficiences the Brazilian have. Just for the sake of it.
By the way, talking about classic No. 10 players, let me suggest a few of them to Monsieur Iliev. Perhaps we could sign one or two of them.

Meanwhile the two Bulgarians seem to be done with the team. Bandalovski definitely wants to leave Partizan
rumours speak that it's not a new thing at all, he had wanted to find a new team for himself during the winter preparations already. It has been told that the last straw for him was Vulićević getting to the starting 11 against Zaglebie instead of him
while Bojinov was practically yelled off by Ivan Tomić in the locker-room after the Saturday training. One of the reasons was that the Bulgarian is still overweighted, the other reason was discreetly mentioned as "tactical conceptions",
I can imagine. I’m probably not the only one who noticed that Bojinov’s pace would be enough for a League 5 veterans’ game, maybe
mondo.rs mentioned though that Tomić gave out the order to find a striker before the end of the transfer window.
And here comes the punch line. I kept it for the end of this post on purpose.
Partizan’s management gave out a press release about the stadium’s renovations in the near future according to UEFA’s current regulations. To make these renovations possible, the team needed financial support from the Serbian Football Association (FSS). They got it - and the management is now giving thanks to FSS’s president, Slaviša Kokeza,
that Slaviša Kokeza, who was Crvena Zvezda’s vice president not so long ago.
Aren’t they cute?... Let’s wipe off the tears from our eyes that ran out by these so heavy emotions.

We won. We surely won’t put this game into the window on display, but we won and qualified to the final.
During the first 20 minutes of the match I tried to bring an apparently dead stream link back to life. I failed. I could find then a working stream, but I missed out almost half of the first part. I try to re-construct it by the official match report.
We didn’t waste time. It was just the 2nd minute when Bandalovski and Stevanović played pinball at Spartak’s penalty area. Then Bandalovski crossed to the middle, where Mihajlović arrived. He thanked and immediately shot it from the goalmouth right into the box. 0:1

In the 8th minute again Mihajlović had a try, but this time defenders inactivated him. In the 14th minute Spartak came up for a counter-attack to our penalty area. Mrkela possessed the ball, he shot, it was too wide. Then in the 18th minute they got a free kick 20 metres from our box. Again Mrkela tried, this time Brašanac threw himself into the way.
In the 25th minute Bandalovski ran up in the middle. Jočić kicked him to the ground, the referee whistled, free kick for Partizan.
Could someone tell me why Bandalovski received a yellow card here?
Mihajlović stood behind the ball, he shot it into the goalmouth, but Farkaš kicked it downfield. We still possessed the ball, Stevanović passed to Gogoua, but Partizan’s defender started to run backwards for seemingly no reason in the middle of an attack.
In the 28th minute Spartak attacked. Milošević came up on the left side with the ball, wrestling with Bandalovski. Then the Subotica-based player fell on the ground inside the penalty area. It was a very spectacular movement from him, but it didn’t really touch the referee, he didn’t whistle just waved "go ahead". In the 33rd minute again Spartak attacked, now on the right side. Milić (or Šljivić, I didn’t see the shirt number clearly) got a huge pass from deep. He ran up, Šaranov jumped out of the goalmouth and threw himself into the way.
Compared to league matches we played earlier this one was a fast, combative game. I don’t say it was a good game, because there were too many imprecise passes/crosses and mistakes only a beginner can make, but at least players ran a lot, tackled, wrestled, fought, and it was definitely a positive turn.
In the 40th minute Mrkela crossed from the left, but our defenders headed it downfield. We started a counter-attack, but that died away. A minute later Spartak attacked again, our defenders again blocked it, again we started a counter-attack, but Stevanović was stopped. Then in the 44th minute Kosović crossed to the middle, but the defenders were faster than Brašanac.
For the second half head coach Tomić arrived wearing this substitute marker shirt. I had a slight hope he might put himself into action as a substitute player.
In the beginning of the second part Spartak attacked heavily. In the 47th minute Milić had a distant shot from 20 metres, it was too high.
The pace was still fast, just like in the first half, but it slowly turned into a "much ado about nothing"-alike scene. Players made too many mistakes on both sides, being too hasty, while seemingly suffering from the lack of ideas about what to do.
I have to put it here, Saša Ilić can (still) keep the ball like a real professional. These children around him could all learn from him. In the 50th minute he played merry-go-round with a Spartak-player, the opponent wanted to grab the ball from him, but Ilić didn’t allow, leaving the other one puzzled.
The 54th minute brought a Spartak-attempt. A weak shot came from the left, but flew out not even approaching the goalpost.
Meanwhile they were doing nothing on the field, but at least they did it in a very spectacular way.
In the 59th minute Stevanović shot suddenly, from 20 metres, the goalkeeper had a great save.
Lost balls. Imprecise passes/crosses, kicking into the air instead of the ball - that can be the summary of this period.
In the 65th minute Spartak missed out a huge chance. Partizan-defenders fell asleep, the ball dropped here and there causing a goalmouth scramble. Finally Jovanović headed it, but it wasn’t too successful. Then the ball dropped off from Šaranov, too. For our great luck it didn’t end up as a goal for the home team.
In the 69th minute Tomić sent a pass to Stefan Ilić from the half-line. Ilić ran up, Bandalovski was close behind him. Spartak’s player finally shot, Šaranov had a great save. In the 72nd minute Šaranov presented another big save - Partizan’s defense line was again out of order, Novaković took advantage of it and shot, Partizan’s goalkeeper did his job.
In the next few minutes we had a number of attempts. It was mostly Mihajlović, who dribbled himself in front of the box, but the defenders blocked him. The pace of the game slowed down, though mistakes and lost balls came more often. In the 80th minute the referee showed the red card for Mudrinski (after his second yellow card).
In the 84th minute Mihajlović dribbled on the right side, then crossed to the middle. Vlahović arrived and headed the ball right into the net. 0:2
The pace slowed down completely. Spartak seemed to resign themselves to the defeat, though the coup de grace was still left.
90th minute. Mihajlović arrived with the ball on the left side. He crossed it to Stevanović in the middle, he forwarded it out to the right side to Bandalovski. The Bulgarian shot, the ball rolled ahead dropping and hopping all the way, passing by the goalkeeper, hitting the left goalpost, ending his way in the net. 0:3
The final takes part on 11th May, we'll play against Javor Matis.

This weekend is the re-start of the football season, it is high time to look through the further happenings of the transfer market. There had been a blogpost earlier about it, you can read it here.
Of course the Živković-saga hasn’t ended yet. The final episode (or at least the next season) will come some time in the beginning of the summer.

On 17th January FK Partizan signed Ivory Coast player Cédric Gogoua. Gogua plays as a defender, he is 21 years old
though there had been rumours about his actual age. Some sources claimed he is at least 23 if not older, but there has been no confirmation, nor deny about it
and he signed to Partizan for 4 years.

In the meantime there had been rumours about Zoran Milinković as well. The ex-head coach is allegedly still the employee of FK Partizan - but this time as a scout.
Partizan’s ice hockey team got five new players from Russia: 29-year-old Anton Zhukov, 25-year-old Alexander Vlasov, 26-year-old Aleksey Tifonov, 27-year-old Igor Zubov and 25-year-old Stepan Krivov.

Meanwhile a very nerve-racking period of the transfer season started, titled as "should he stay or should he go"
around three players: Ivan Bandalovski, Valeri Bojinov and Aboubakar Oumarou.
For long it looked that Ivan Bandalovski must leave ul. Humska. Head coach Ivan Tomić allegedly made it clear that he does not need the Bulgarian defender, he is free to go wherever he wants. Yet some time in the first days of February the management changed their mind and quickly extended the contract with Bandalovski. So, Bandalovski will stay, his place is as solid as a piece of concrete.
Valeri Bojinov was on the list of an unnamed Chinese team. Partizan’s price for the Bulgarian striker was 2 million euros, the Chinese part offered 1 million. For quite a while it seemed, Partizan will still make a deal, but eventually the business failed to get done.
Bojinov in the meantime had a sad tour in the Serbian media claiming that he doesn’t want to leave Partizan at all, but he knows well that the club is in a very bad financial condition because of the Živković-case, and he certainly puts the team’s interest ahead of his own. But, sighed Bojinov, how much I would have wanted to win an eternal derby with Partizan and to score at least 12 goals in the season.
Well, you got the chance, meatball. But then keep on scoring those goals, because I fucking won’t have enough nerves to count your missed-out chances.
Yet it’s still not clear what happens to Aboubakar Oumarou. He also got an offer from China. The offer seemed to be very serious, the press even got informations about the alleged price (1,2 million euros), Aboubakar was told to pack his suitcases, because he is going to China.
Then he didn’t.
It was that time of the year when Chinese people celebrated the Lunar New Year. It’s the biggest holiday in China, it lasts at least for a week. The Chinese negotiator just said, they’d be back after the holiday season, then they disappeared. At Partizan the management was just shrugging being puzzled, then Iliev appeared in front of the press and said, all right, then Aboubakar stays at Partizan, because (citation!) the management carefully considered the interests of the team and they thought that it would definitely be for Partizan’s best interest if the Cameroonian stayed in Belgrade.
They obviously realized that if they sell Aboubakar, there will be only 2 (two) strikers left: Bojinov and Fofana, who just returned back from loan. There are two youngsters as well, 17-year-old Đorđe Jovanović and 16-year-old Dušan Vlahović, who are both extremely talented, but well, in some cases routine and experience are essential.
Only one day passed after Iliev’s announcement, when the Chinese negotiator sent their official offer for Aboubakar (price tag: 1 million euros). So, Iliev took a deep breath

stepped again to the journalists and announced that well, erm, ahem, you know, we may actually still sell out our Cameroonian player for a special bargain. That’s how things stand at the moment, as soon as there’s any more news, everyone will be informed.
The other big event of the transfer season was that Nikola Ninković signed to Italian team Genoa, but he was put immediately on loan to Chievo until the end of the season.
Partizan terminated the contract with several players. Nikola Trujić was discharged on 1st February. Fabricio was sent back to Brazil. Predrag Luka was also fired. Filip Knežević left by himself and signed to Čukarički. Among "black sheeps" only Živko Živković stayed at Partizan, but he is exiled to Teleoptik together with the other Živković, Andrija.
There were news about the possible selling of Vulićević, too - Turkish team Sivasspor wanted to buy him, but they couldn’t agree, as Iliev reported later. Russian team Rubin Kazan wanted to sign Marko Jevtović, but Partizan priced him to 2,5 million euros, and that was too much for the Russians.
Other than them there were those whom Partizan would have wanted to sign, but failed: Dino Ndlovu from South Africa (his club didn’t want to sell him), Seydouba Soumah from Guinea (no info about why this signing failed, it looked almost 100 % sure) as well as Léandre Tawamba from Cameroon (his team priced him for 1,25 million, that was too much for Partizan).
As a summary, 6 players arrived (Marko Jovanović, Bojan Šaranov, Nemanja Mihajlović, Luiz Everton, Cédric Gogoua + Fofana returned from loan) - 8 players left (Babović, Grbić, Fabricio, Šaponjić, Ninković, Trujić, Luka, Knežević) and two other players’ fate is still not clear (Andrija Živković, Aboubakar Oumarou). I do not say any predictions, we will see everything this weekend.

Subotica immediately had an attempt. They attacked from the left side, finally it ended in a corner kick. After the kick Partizan-defenders cleared the area.
Well, actually, better said, we allowed them to warm up.
Because after this Partizan put themselves into speed action. In the 6th minute we already got a corner kick, that made a serious goalmouth scrumble for Spartak. Andrija Živković possessed the ball, then he was tackled, but still we kept Spartak’s goal under attack. Eventually the referee whistled it off. Goal-kick.
In the 9th minute Saša Ilić and Leković kept on passing the ball to each other, then Leković crossed it to the middle. A Spartak-defender kicked it out through the baseline. Corner-kick. Ninković got the ball, he shot, the goalkeeper saved. A minute later Spartak had another attempt with a 25-metre free kick, our defenders headed it out. We started a counter-attack, Andrija Živković crossed it to Vulićević on the right. Vulićević ran up and shot from a sharp angle, the goalkeeper saved it.
Meanwhile in the 12th minute someone on the stand got sick so much that an ambulance car arrived to give them medical attendance. The game was halted for a short time.

In the 14th minute Brašanac tried with a kick to the goal, the goalkeeper again saved it. A minute later we got a free kick, 25 metres from the goal line. Ninković stood behind the ball and sent a cross to Vulićević on the other side. Vulićević passed it to Brašanac, Brašanac forwarded it to Andrija Živković. He was wrestling with a defender, finally it ended in a throw-in.
Partizan was much stronger and determined now than (any time) earlier in the past weeks. We attacked, with no passing backwards or fumbling.
In the 16th minute Brašanac ran up on the left side. He crossed it to the middle, the goalkeeper jumped out of the goalmouth to catch it, but the ball rolled away from him, right to Andrija Živković. The young winger grabbed it and with an amazing bicycle kick he shot. It was just too high.
Two minutes later Saša Ilić got the ball in the middle. He forwarded it to Brašanac, Brašanac shot it to the goal line, but this one was also too high.
The 20th minute brought an amazing Andrija Živković-Saša Ilić-Nikola Ninković pinball-shooting inside the penalty area - but the referee whistled it off, because by his viewpoint Saša Ilić in fact played handball.
In the 22nd minute Ninković crossed after a corner kick, but defenders headed it out. We still possessed the ball, Leković ran up on the left, passing forward to Brašanac, but the pass was too long.

In the 26th minute Stefan Ilić got suddenly a pass on the right side. Subotica’s player shot, it was too high. A minute later they got a free kick, but our defenders cleared the area.
In the 30th minute Ninković passed to Brašanac. Brašanac forwarded the ball to Andrija Živković. He ran up, almost sliding out through the baseline, but still had a shot from an almost impossible angle. Goalkeeper Janošević caught it.

In the 36th minute Jevtović passed to Andrija Živković, who forwarded the ball to Bojinov with an amazingly spectacular Oxford-trick. Bojinov shot, it was too high (and it was even flag up, for offside).
In the 37th minute we started a counter-attack after a Spartak free kick. Ninković crossed to the middle, Bojinov headed it, but it was too wide. A minute later Spartak attacked, Bandalovski blocked their attempt to corner kick.
Then in the second half, at the 50th minute we got a free kick. (Bojinov was kicked to the ground by a Spartak-defender right at the penalty area line.) Andrija Živković stood behind the ball...

In the 56th minute Bojinov sent a great pass to Ninković. Ninković ran up, a defender threw himself into the way, finally it ended in a corner kick.
In the 60th minute Saša Ilić got the ball after a corner kick. He forwarded it to Andrija Živković. Žile crossed it to the middle, there Jevtović headed it to the goal line, the goalkeeper again had a huge save.
In the 65th minute Mrkela appeared suddenly on the right side. He even shot, Kljajić saved. They immediately attacked again, now from the other side, this time Ćirković blocked them.
At this part of the match there were less attacks and attempts than in the first half. The game was going mostly on the midfield. In the 72nd minute a Partizan-throw-in caused a goalmouth scramble for Spartak. Andrija Živković suddenly shot, the goalkeeper performed the save of his life. Two minutes later Spartak had an attempt with a shot, Kljajić just reached out and caught it easily.
In the 76th minute Andrija Živković got the ball after a free kick. He ran up on the left, made a fantastic solo then crossed it to the middle - just the goalkeeper threw himself into the way and saved.

In the 78th minute Mrkela appearead again on our right side and crossed the ball to the middle. Božović was waiting there, he raised up to head it to our goal line, but it was way too high.
The rest of the game was mostly about Partizan’s corner kicks and missed out attempts, though at one of them Bandalovski was kicked so hard to the ground that he was rolling on the grass screaming. At the very end of the match, in the 90+4th minute Spartak had one last attempt. Milošević shot, Kljajić saved.

Tragic.
It was tragic. There’s no better word or expression for this.
We played terrible and we couldn’t score one single goal against a team that was almost dropped out of the superliga in the previous season. With this draw we are 3rd on the league table, while the red team is on the 1st place, leading with more than 10 points (!!!) of difference. And we haven’t reached even the half of the season.
The stadium in ul. Humska was utterly deserted. There were only 3000 spectators at the game.

Nothing much happened in the first 10 minutes. The two teams clashed with great elan. There was only one mentionable scene in the 6th minute. Lukić got the ball on the right side. He dribbled and passed to Brašanac. Brašanac forwarded to Aboubakar, who shot, but the attempt ended in a corner kick.

Still in the same minute Andrija Živković dribbled himself through the defense line and passed to Brašanac. The defenders were quicker though than Partizan’s midfielder, but the ball dropped back to Andrija Živković. Žile shot, the goalkeeper caught it.
In the 12th minute Radnički got a free kick. Bogdanović stood behind the ball, shot, but it was too high.
In the 18th minute, after another Radnički free kick the ball was kicked to our goalmouth from the left. Živko Živković jumped up to save, but he caught only the shadow of the ball

Radnički-players wanted to grab the ball. They shot, but for our great luck they kicked the ball on the side-net. We immediately started a counter-attack. Bojinov shot, the goalkeeper saved.

In the 21st minute we got a free kick on the right side. Andrija Živković shot it to the middle, the goalkeeper caught it. In the 28th minute again he possessed the ball, shooting from the right side, but the ball flew over in front of the goal line.
Both teams ran a lot and fought a lot, but they barely had any attempts. Then in the 32nd minute the guest team attacked from the right. Blažić kicked the ball to Apostolović. Apostolović shot, it was too high. Two minutes later Andrija Živković was dribbling in the middle, then passed to Lukić Lukić sent the ball to Aboubakar on the other side, but a defender was quicker.
In the 37th minute Bogdanović sent a distant shot to our goal, Živko Živković easily saved it. A minute later Bojinov got the ball after a throw-in. He shot, Radnički’s goalkeeper performed the saving of his life. In the 39th minute Leković passed to Lukić. Lukić shot from 17 metres, the goalkeeper saved.
In the meantime Grave Diggers made wildfire on the southern front, it was much more spectacular than the game itself.

In the 43rd minute Bandalovski ran up on the right side. At the penalty area two defenders made a "sandwich" of him. The Bulgarian player fell on the ground. Free kick. Andrija Živković stood behind the ball. He kicked it into the goalmouth, the goalkeeper pushed it out.
For the second half the stream collapsed. The only one that could be found was without commentarie. For this reason my informations about who shot, who passed, who attacked are not fully complete. I try to put the pieces of this puzzle together by different match reports.
In the 47th minute we attacked from the left, but the ball was caught by goalkeeper Jovanović. A minute later we attacked again. Brašanac got the ball, but he shot it on the side-net.
In the 50th minute Andrija Živković ran up in the middle. He dribbled himself through the defenders’ line. One of them tackled him, but he grabbed the ball back. He forwarded it to Brašanac, but for him it was too long. Goal-kick.
In the 54th minute we attacked from the middle. Aboubakar got the ball, he shot, but missed. Two minutes later Radnički attacked from the right. Partizan’s defenders headed the ball out, but it dropped right in front of Zemlianukhin. He shot, but it was too high. We started a counter-attack, Aboubakar shot from 17 metres, the goalkeeper saved. We were still in the 56th minute, Andrija Živković dribbled, then shot to the goalmouth, a defender interrupted the attempt, ending it in a corner kick.
In the 61st minute Radnički’s attack arrived from the left. Zemlianuhin shot, it was too wide.
Meanwhile the powerfulness of our attacks were equal to a butterfly fart.
In the 64th minute Šaponjić sent a powerful shot to the goal from the left, goalkeeper Jovanović saved it with his leg. The ball dropped back to the goalmouth, in front of Leković. He also tried, but the attempt died in the defenders’ ring.

shot from the left, right on the side-net. In the 74th minute we got a free kick, 17 metres from the goal line. Andrija Živković shot, the goalkeeper saved. They immediately started a counter-attack on the right side. It was dangerous, our defense line cleared the area.
In the 77th minute Blažić sent a powerful shot to our goal from the middle. Živko Živković saved. We started a counter-attack, but Stevanović was pushed to the ground at the penalty area. The referee didn’t whistle.
At this point we got a row of corner kicks, but we couldn’t push the ball into the net. Radnički was stuck in their goalmouth, but we just couldn’t break their defense. I swear, after a while they were making fun of us sweeping the ball out for corner kick. Fans were booing, demanding the discharge of head coach Zoran Milinković. Finally Leković sent a distant, flat shot on the goal line in the 85th minute - if it was a joke, then it was terrible, if it was serious, then... then let’s just go home and re-start it all from scratch.
In the 90th minute Šaponjić got the ball on the left side, but his shot was not powerful enough. Our last attempt was in the 90+4th minute, Stevanović’s shot rolled over in front of the goal.
After the final whistle 3000 angry fans were shouting UPRAVA NAPOLJE.
Tragedy. Partizan should kill Europe and dance on their graves. Instead we are struggling breathlessly during 90 minutes. We became a mediocre team. This is an outrage. While those who are responsible for this all just scratch their fat asses and talk beside the point.

I’ll be honest and I won’t mind even if someone(s) will hate me for this. But I was utterly happy when I got to know that neither Babović, nor Fabricio would be in the starting eleven. I admit, I didn’t shed a tear for Petrović either. What is more: the talentless, but cocky Babović shouldn’t be more than a ball-boy at some recreational training. But only when nobody else is available.
And finally the left side of our defense line was not looking like a corridor for pedestrians.

...and the talented, reliable Bandalovski, who is useful on both the left and the right side and is able to play over his entire side, from the defense to the midfield, a typical "wildcard player".
Why, why, why must such players be bench warmers?!... Bandalovski should be the base of the defense line, being in the starting 11 at every game. Other trainers would fall over themselves to get such a defender, while over here he is stuck in the second team. And how many other players are there, who, like him, are talented but can barely make it to the A-team, or sometimes even to the bench, God damn it.
So, we walked out to the field and already in the 2nd minute Ćirković headed the ball to the goal line after a corner kick. Pity it was too wide. Two minutes later Saša Ilić got the ball in the middle. He shot from 16 metres. It was dangerous, the goalkeeper had a great save.
If I wanted to be mean now, I’d say, there it is, Babović is out of the team, and Saša Ilić immediately shows he still has a lot reserved.
Then in the 6th minute Aboubakar came up on the left side and kicked the ball to Saša Ilić. The Captain passed it ahead to Andrija Živković in the middle. The young world champion got it and walked right into the net with it. GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAL! 1:0!!!

In the first 15 minutes Partizan dominated. OFK could barely get to our half, and even that didn’t last too long. The pace got slower, but we kept the game under control. OFK just assisted and they were busy mostly with keeping the ball as far from their goalmouth as possible.
In the 25th minute Andrija Živković was dribbling on the right side, then passed it to Brašanac in the middle. Brašanac headed it to the goal line, the goalkeeper caught it.
In the 30th minute OFK got a corner kick. Ješić shot, Partizan-defenders headed it out, right in front of Avramovski. The Macedonian player kicked into the air instead of the ball, it was painful to see. Finally the ball rolled out of the line. Goal-kick.
In the 32nd minute we got a free kick, approx. 25-28 metres from the goal line. Andrija Živković stood behind the ball. He shot, Balažic jumped up to head it, but Savić was quicker. It ended in a corner kick.
In the 35th minute a huge chance was missed out. Andrija Živković dribbled himself up on the right, then after this great solo he shot. He missed with barely a few centimetres.
A minute later Andrija Živković ran up with the ball on the right side. He passed it out to Vulićević, who kicked it to the middle. There Šaponjić rose up to the skies and flawlessly headed it into the net. GOOOOAAAAAAAAL, wonderful, perfect goal!!! 2:0!!!
There was a free kick left in the last minute before the end of the first half, 22 metres from the goal line. Andrija Živković kicked, the ball hit the wall.
The second half started with Subašić hitting Ćirković in the face, it brought a small pause for the game. Then in the 52nd minute OFK made it to Partizan’s penalty area after a long time. They came up on the left, the first attempt was saved by Živko Živković
it almost looked like an action that ends in a penalty kick, also the ball seemed to roll out of the field for a moment, but the refere didn’t whistle

Two minutes later we got a free kick. About 25 metres, right side. Andrija Živković stood behind the ball. He kicked it inside the penalty area, Ćirković headed it, but the referee whistled it off.
The match started to slow down. Partizan’s first-half-pace disappeared. OFK didn’t want to speed it up either. The game was going on mostly the midfield, then in the 61st minute Andrija Živković grabbed the ball some time in the depths, near Partizan’s penalty area. He run up, with great solo, passed it to Vulićević on the right. Vulićević headed towards the penalty area and passed it towards Šaponjić in the middle, but a defender blocked the attempt.
In the 67th minute Bandalovski gave a great pass to Brašanac. Brašanac ran up in the middle, shot, the goalkeeper pushed the ball out, ending the action in corner kick. The kick was headed out by OFK defenders, in front of Trujić. Trujić shot, from about 16 metres, but it was too high.
Question of today’s game: why did Brašanac have to come off in the 75th minute?... He wasn’t injured, he was the heart and soul of the midfield. Why, why, why?...
In the 78th minute Jevtović sent a distant shot to the goal, but the ball flew out above the crossbar.
Then in the 80th minute Gojkov passed to Ignjatijević. Ignjatijević attacked, it was dangerous, but we had Živko Živković at the goal line, who can save much more dangerous attempts as well. He could demonstrate his skills 3 minutes later, when Simić ran up to the goalmouth with two Partizan-defenders in his back. Simić shot, Živko Živković saved with his leg.

The field of the Čačak stadium got soaky wet after days of heavy raining. It was covered with mud when the players walked out for the match. It was raining even during the game, the slippery grass made it even more difficult for both teams. As an extra, the stadium lights were just glimmering during the evening. At the goal area it was semi-dark.

The game started with a minute of silence for the memory of Srđan Jovanović, former referee and president of FSS’s referee committe, who passed away earlier this week.
Then, right after the starting whistle Borac attacked. Their striker ran up on the right side, Bandalovski threw himself into the way. (It was barely a few millimetres that it didn’t end as an own goal. Thankfully it didn’t, Borac got a corner kick.)

In the 8th minute the home team attacked again. Jovančić shot from 18 metres. Živko Živković performed a great save, then he stayed on the ground holding his waist with a painful face.
In the 10th minute again the home team could run up on the right side.
The left side of our defense line was again like a passage-way. Something must be done, it cannot remain like this for the CL-game on Wednesday.
Knežević ran up all alone and shot. Živko Živković saved with his leg. Then again he stayed on the ground. Now he got medical attendance, what is more, on the screen appeared Filip Kljajić, the substitute goalkeeper as he was warming up. Finally Živko Živković didn’t need any substitution, though he visibly had pain during the match.

In the 23rd minute, while Average Fan tried to resurrect the dying stream, we got a free kick about 25-30 metres from the goal line, on the right. Babović stood behind the ball, he shot it inside the penalty area, but defenders cleared it.
In the 30th minute again Borac attacked, again from the right side. They passed the ball to the middle, Živko Živković caught it. Five minutes later Babović got the ball on the left. He headed it to the goal line, but it was too high.
Then in the 38th minute we tried to break Borac’s defense in the middle. The ball dropped from a defender to Trujić, who was standing on the right. For everyone’s surprise Trujić shot, and the ball dropped into the upper left corner of the net like a cannon ball. 0:1

In the 42nd minute Petrović got a great pass from Saša Ilić on the left. He shot, the ball would have needed just millimetres to get into the net. Borac started a counter-attack, our defense line cleared in the last moment. Corner kick, the ball is shot to the middle, where Mićić jumped up to head it into the net, but it slipped on his bald head. Živko Živković again presented an amazing save.

In the 55th minute Saša Ilić passed the ball out to the right side to Trujić. Trujić kicked it back to him, then the Captain shot from 8 metres. Goalkeeper Bajić saved, Borac could ran up for a counter-attack. On the right side

Tanasin arrived with the ball. The ball dropped out of the line, but neither the referee, nor the assistant bothered about it. Tanasin passed to the middle to his teammate who headed it to our goal line, missing it with just millimetres. We started a counter-counter-attack. Šaponjić got the ball, he ran up in the middle and shot with full power. The goalkeeper made a huge save.
In the 64th minute the home attack came again from the right. Knežević (if I could see well) got the ball and shot immediately. Marko Jevtović selflessly threw himself into the way, making the attempt end as a corner kick. The shot was headed by a Borac-player (Mićić maybe?... I’m not sure, maybe it was his bald head there), but it was too high.
Cardial arrest came in the 69th minute. Our defense line lost the ball, substitute player Đerić grabbed it at once. He attacked our goal all alone, all doors and windows were wide open...

In the 71st minute we got a free kick on the right. Babović shot to Trujić, he passed it ahead to Lukić. Lukić got the ball, shot and scored a fantastic goal. 0:3!!!!

We immediately got the answer, practically right after the kickoff. After a wrong pass lost by Partizan-defenders Knežević grabbed the ball. He rushed up to the goal and kicked the ball into our net passing it by Živko Živković, who ran out of the goalmouth. 1:3
In the 78th minute Milojević had a huge chance, but Živko Živković had an even more huge save. Meanwhile Lukić stayed on the ground laying; a Borac-player kicked him on his back. Lukić couldn’t continue the game. Kosović, his substitute debuted in Partizan.
