Superliga, round 21: Napredak - FK Partizan 2:1

Pictures appeared on social media sites the day before the game about the huge amount of snow on the Kruševac pitch. The leadership of Napredak asked everyone to help as much as possibly and asked for fans’ patience. For the morning of the gameday the pitch was cleaned, the referee delegation decided that it was eligible to play the game, there was no obstacle for the teams to clash.

Everyone who threw a hissy fit about pitch conditions, namely that it looked like a pigsty full of mud, all of you please go and fuck yourselves. First, a professional football player MUST endure even such conditions, because this is his job, that’s why he gets salary. If they don’t like it, they are free to leave and switch profession to be ballerinas. Second, obviously nobody wanted to postpone this game until spring, so obviously both teams’ leadership agreed to play this game, regardless of pitch conditions.

FYI, professionalism exists in this world, not just whining and making excuses.

Then the game was about to start, but it just didn’t start… A few home fans found it funny to throw snowballs to Stojković from the stands. Seeing this both teams decided to leave the pitch. Nothing happened for 5 minutes, just fans got more and more annoyed, booing and hissing. When teams returned to the pitch, something broke in Partizan-fans, they threw a firecracker onto the grass.

It came to my mind already at this point that FSS would fuck us. And the end wasn’t even near...

Then we could finally start the game (and mud-wrestling). We had a strong start, in the 6th minute the goalkeeper saved Ožegović’s sho, then in the 12th Pantić’s free kick crossed to the goalmouth, a defender kicked it downfield, the ball dropped to Radin, he shot, the goalkeeper had a great save.

The game had a halt again in the 14th minute. Partizan-fans hanged a banner on the tribune on which they let FSS and the referee committee know their opinion about them. (In short, ‘go and fuck yourselves, bastards’.) They also threw firecrackers on the pitch.

I have no idea what those on the southern tribune thought when hanging out this banner. Did they really think the leadership of FSS will sprinkle ash on their heads and resign with deep regret about their sins when seeing this banner? No, you idiots, seeing this banner FSS will fuck us so hard that those at Brazzers will clap their hands and I’m sure they would offer a certain amount of percent for the rights as well.

Meanwhile on the other side Stojković was again thrown with snowballs. So, it was a nice, peaceful, Sunday afternoon atmosphere with high-level, intellectual entertainment.

Oh, wait...

The match continued in the 18th minute, right with an attempt by the home team. Alivodić ran upfield, he was tackled, we made a counter-attack, Tawamba got the ball, he was tackled inside the penalty area. The Cameroonian fell, many complained for penalty. I’ll be honest, I didn’t see clearly what happened, so I rather say nothing.

We still had a Tawamba-moment in the 29th minute… he got the ball again, defenders fell asleep, Tawamba dribbled the goalkeeper, shot…

…and it was such a terrible shot being too wide with metres that the ball burst into tears as it flew out of the pitch to the southern tribune. In the 31st minute baldhead Miletić got the ball after a goalmouth scramble. Baldhead shot, it was too wide with 1-2 centimetres.

Then… Then came the 34th minute. Alivodić ran upfield on the right side, crossed to the middle where Vukanović arrived all alone. Defenders were just watching as Vukanović shot and scored a huge goal. (1:0)

It was really a huge goal, plus the action itself was spectacular as well.

Not much later Alivodić shot after a solo, but that was saved by Stojković.

For the left of the first half we just struggled. It looked as so that if the ball fell into the opponent’s penalty area and someone from us was hanging around there, then we were dangerous. If not, then not. Additionally our defense line was painfully tragic.

In the halftime Partizan-players went to the fans to talk. Even though it didn’t come to spotlight what they discussed, but it was almost surely something like ‘guys, be kind enough to stick up all your fucking transparents in your arses, ecause the team will (again) get fucked because some of you (again) can’t behave’. The second half started with another Tawamba-moment. 49th minute, all doors and windows are wide open, and Tawamba shot too wide…

In the 54th minute Napredak scored again. This one was even more spectacular than the previous. Boranijašević got a great pass, crossed to the middle, nobody was there, only Đerić, who simply walked into the box with the ball. (2:0)

This was again a huge goal from a fantastic action.

There was only one problem with it.

We received it.

We could score only once, in the 59th minute, even then it was just a penalty. I’m not even sure if it was just… What I could see from the slow motion replay was that the defender who tackled Tawamba actually did touch the ball before tackling the Cameroonian. Anyway, penalty is (just like goal) what the referee validates, and referee Milorad Mažić pointed at the white spot. Here came another weird situation.

Nobody wanted to shoot the penalty. Neither Soumah (who was again invisible for the whole game, literally doing nothing for 90 fucking minutes), nor Ožegović. Finally Jevtović was brave enough to stand behind the ball. He scored. (2:1)

Then nothing happened for 13 massive minutes. The first action came in the 72nd minute, Napredak attacked, just everyone was way behind Vukanović’s cross. It was actually very good, because our defenders were way behind, too...

The home team attacked immediately afterwards. Eskić’s shot was too high, our defenders were again in the woods probably… In the 82nd minute Solomon headed the ball so wide that it caused physical pain to watch.

The end game brought the most unbelievable situation. We got a free kick in the extra time (90+4.), even Stojković left his box and came to the opponent’s penalty area. The problem was that the home team made a turnover and Alivodić was already running upfield towards the empty box like a hurricane. Two desperate defenders tried to catch him, they couldn't… Stojković disappeared, Alivodić was unstoppable, just reached the penalty area, making one of the world’s biggest solos, shot…

…and the shot was too wide with just a millimetre, the ball rolled out of the pitch near the goalpost. Maybe the gods of football thought it would be a way too big shame for us. After this referee Mažić quickly gave the final whistle to the game.

FK Partizan - Napredak 3:2 (superliga, round 17)

It has been long since a football game freaked me out and racked my nerves this much. Well, Partizan has been trying hard in the past months to try my endurance, but last time I was this done was probably the game Austria vs. Hungary at Euro2016.

That was completely different though. That was magic, miracle, when you can’t sleep for the whole night afterwards. As for this game, I could listen to only some vibraphone jazz on a very low volume, but still had some twitching fits every now and then.

The first attempt was in the 4th minute. Vukanović shot, Kljajić saved. Two minutes later Leonardo had a try with a 25-metre free kick, but it was too high, way too high.
Jump to the 18th minute. Leonardo shot from 16 metres, the goalkeeper pushed it to corner kick with a great save.
Then a minute later N’Diaye and Markovski passed the ball around at our penalty area. It resulted a huge scramble and and almost-fight scene. Finally one of the Napredak-players pushed the ball ahead, right to Gobeljić. Gobeljić very aggressively attacked, literally exploded out from the mass scene and shot the ball into the box. 0:1
It was a very bad, nervous game. Referee Nenad Đokić was in the worst possible shape ever. He handed out a good handful of yellow cards in the first 30 minutes, waved "go ahead" numerous times when he should have whistled it off and he was simply unable to keep the game under control. Players fought with each other, there were many fouls and the level of the match was simply awful.
Bojinov tried the already racked nerves in the 29th minute, when he hit the crossbar from the goalmouth - again. Then Leonardo was dribbling on the left side then crossed to the middle - where everyone was just WATCHING it, with mouth open, as the ball rolled through the penalty area. Nobody made a move. Just nobody. This should have been the moment to stop the game and put the whole team into a line, make them bend over and kick everyone right in the ass. They would have deserved it, all of them.
A minute later Đurđević ran up inside Napredak’s penalty area. N’Diaye was behind him, forcing Đurđević out of the pitch through the baseline, then Đurđević fell to the ground. The slow motion replay showed N’Diaye slightly pushing Đurđević, but that was enough for Partizan’s striker to fall. But referee Đokić had a totally different point of view. For him Đurđević was just acting, probably with the hope to get a penalty kick. He showed Đurđević the yellow card, but Đurđević already had a yellow card - so he was sent off with a red one.

Needless to say it resulted a huge chaos. Partizan-players complained, while Đurđević had to be kept back by a Napredak-player not to do something stupid.

42nd minute. Balažic made a huge mistake, my teeth almost fell out seeing it. The punishment by Napredak was fast and ruthless. Vukanović grabbed the ball, ran away with it towards our penalty area. Kljajić ran out of the goalmouth, Vukanović passed the ball above him, right into the box. 0:2
Bojinov again screwed up an attempt in the 43rd minute. All doors and windows were open, and it was so very painful, that Leonardo (from whom Bojinov got the pass before the attempt) ran to the Bulgarian and started to yell at him with big gestures. Honestly? I could totally understand the Brazilian’s rage. Bojinov has been sinking lower and lower in the past games. An average coach would kick him out of the stadium... I very much hope Marko Nikolić will not allow this talentless sloth into the starting eleven anymore after this horrible performance, not just into the starting eleven, but even to the substitute squad. (By the way, young Vlahović could get more chance. He is a million times more talented and skilled than this stupid brat Bulgarian.)
It was already the extra time, when Leonardo forced our first goal into the box. He got the ball from Saša Ilić at the half-line, ran up wrestling with a defender (the defender fell, and for Leonardo’s great luck the referee just waved "go ahead", didn’t whistle it off), reached the penalty area, passed to Saša Ilić, the Captain passed him back, Leonardo shot and scored. 1:2

There was time one last Napredak-attack, Šarac shot, barely missing it.

When the two teams walked out for the second half, there was some boo and hiss from the stands, and not really for the guests... Partizan started the second part with big pace, but the truth is that Napredak played with a much more collected style (so did they in the first half), and they could turn Partizan’s weak points for their own advantage. Other than that they had great and very fast counter-attacks. No wonder they are 4th on the league table.
In the 54th minute Partizan got a penalty kick. Bojinov fell to the ground inside the penalty area, the referee whistled, stood at the white dot, while gave a second yellow card to Leković, so Napredak also continued the game with 10 players.
But before continuing Leonardo stood to the white dot to shoot the penalty kick. He did so, and scored. 2:2

I’m still not really impressed by Leonardo, because Partizan had much better players in the past, and even the not-so-talented, not-so-skilled ones were better than this Brazilian. Still he is the only one right now in Partizan’s current squad who is willing to shoot on target. You can take a look at our statistics, our numbers at "shoot on target" are scandalous. And well, goal comes only by shooting on target. The ball will not roll into the box by itself.

Partizan’s equalizing goal turned everyone into a nervous idiot as much that at a free kick Bojinov started to yell with Janković. (Before that Balažic missed out a chance when heading Leonardo’s cross to the box, just the goalkeeper saved. Napredak made an instant counter-attack, Urošević shot, too high.) In the 75th minute we had another try. Vulićević, who has been as invisible as a ghost lately, crossed to the middle. Leonardo headed it to the box, it was too wide. Then Bojinov again missed out an attempt. Task done for him.
Everyone was waiting for the final whistle, when Stevanović shot out of the blue. It was all of a sudden, nobody expected it, probably that’s why he could score. 3:2, miracles exist.

FK Partizan - Napredak 3:1 (Serbian Cup, 1/16 final)

We won with half speed.
Really. We didn’t need any struggle at all. And even this way we made it as a routine victory, with three goals. It was really an easy, post-derby game. At first Napredak made a try, they had an attempt in the 5th minute (too wide). Then it was just some sleepy passing around for quite a while (though Napredak tried again in the 15th minute, Jovović shot, too wide). Then in the 19th minute Đurđević got the ball after a Partizan free kick. He shot right there, but defenders blocked him. No problem, the ball dropped back to him. He caught it, grabbed it and made a cannon shot right into the middle of the box. 1:0

The pace didn’t get any faster afterwards, it was still this easy, workday afternoon training game atmosphere as earlier. Despite the easy-going ambience, the 26th minute brought the second Partizan-goal. Đurđević passed to Đurđić, who has been performing with more and more self-confidence, but two defenders arrived and blocked the attempt.
Or well, they rather thought they blocked our attempt.
Because Leonardo appeared out of the blue, pushed himself aggressively between the two defenders, grabbed the ball and mercilessly shot it. And scored, too! 2:0

This brought a bit more life to the game. In the 32nd minute Leonardo passed to Đurđić. Đurđić crossed to the middle, but Napredak-defenders headed the ball out.
Then in the 36th minute we practically settled the final score. Leonardo shot, the goalkeeper saved, but the ball dropped - again - to Đurđević. Đurđević sent it to the box with a fly-kick. 3:0

Nothing else happened for the rest of the first half. We kept on playing with half-speed, but even that was enough.
In the second half Šljivić was about to shot after a corner-kick in the 48th minute, but he hit the ball in such a twisted way that it was painful to see. (The ball flew out of the pitch through the baseline.)
The game was still this easy, passing-around styled event, same as in the first half. We had two attempts, first Marjanović shot from 22 metres in the 52nd minute (too high), then two minutes later it was Đurđević again, shooting from a sharp angle (too wide). Then in the 56th minute Kljajić had a MARVELLOUS save. Corner-kick, Vukanović headed it to the box. 3:1

Oh well. They can’t say they didn’t score.

The 61st minute brought another cardial arrest. Napredak got a corner-kick, making a big goalmouth scramble, then the ball rolled out through the baseline in the very last moment. (Then Kljajić yelled off the entire Partizan defense line...)

Kljajić is getting better lately. No more fumblings, no more dropping-the-ball-from-the-hand-and-killing-the-nerve-cells-of-fans, no more butterfly catching. He is more and more confident and made great saves now as well as on the derby.

Sekidika’s red card was the next that stirred up the laziness a bit. He knocked down Vulićević in the 71st minute - it wasn’t the first time for him. He already had a yellow card, the referee sent him off.
Other than this Đurđić had two attempts

first he got a great pass from Kosović in the 74th minute. No flag up, Đurđić shot, it was a quite good one, just the goalkeeper was in the way.  He had another in the 87th minute, heading the ball to the box after a corner-kick, but it was too wide.

Napredak - FK Partizan 2:1 (superliga, round 2)

There's nothing to say about this match.
We were a pile of shit. A pile of soulles, talentless monkeys with no ideas and no balls.
We deserved it.
There's no place for excuses. Nobody cares that the pitch was terrible, nobody cares about the referee's possible mistakes. Normally we should have won with 3-4 goals.

After all, what the hell did we expect? The team has been suffering from a heavy lack of strikers and goals, but fear no more, Ivica Iliev came up with the Big Solution.
He signed another goalkeeper.
Well done, idiot.

The first goal was scored by Napredak from penalty in the 19th minute. Šaranov fouled Gobeljić at the goalmouth, the referee’s decision for penalty was absolutely right. (The slow motion replay confirmed the foul.) Šljivić stood behind the ball, he shot and scored, as it should be. 1:0
Here we kept on trying. At the 23rd minute Mihajlović had an attempt, goalkeeper Petrović made a big save.

He was the only one who had ideas about what to do and how

Other than this Leonardo sent a free kick right to the crossbar in the 44th minute.
That's all about the first half.
The second half was even worse.
There was nothing. NOTHING. No shoot on target. No fight. No winning mentality. No running, no pace, no attack. Nothing.
Well, maybe there was a little bit of attack, or at least something that reminded of attacking (watching from distance with eyes half closed). Mihajlović ran up here and there on the left, but even he couldn’t do miracle among those fumbling handicapped ducks.

Everton = primitive idiot
Janković = overly neurotic
Leonardo = butterfly fart
Vulićević = getting slower and slower
(this last one especially makes me sad...)

Then the (non-existing) pace slowed down and turned into the most annoying knock-the-ball-around game. Prva Liga feeling... (but I'm sure even in the 2nd Serbian league there are more exciting games than this). And please, someone tell me why Mihajlović had to be substituted and especially why was Bojinov his substitute?...
Napredak’s 2nd goal came in the 71st minute. Projić shot a, well, let’s be honest, a fantastic cannon shot goal from the left corner of the penalty area. 2:0
We had a huge chance in the 82nd minute. Janković shot, but the goalkeeper saved it. Then the last 7-8 minutes were spent with desperate Partizan-atttempts. Its only result was a penalty in the 87th minute, after Šljivić thwarted Saša Ilić at the baseline

Time has come for Bojinov. The Bulgarian kicked the ball into the box. 2:1

After almost 360 minutes we scored the first goal of the season. From penalty.
Well done. Just well done.

As the result of the defeat and especially the terrible, atrocious performance head coach Ivan Tomić has resigned right after the game. There are no infos yet about his possible successor.

I feel for Tomić. Even a level Mourinho coach couldn’t have brought out any better performance from this line-up. This was the only possible step he could make.

Update: upon the informations of mozzartsport.com the management would like Marko Nikolić to return to Partizan’s bench. The two other possible candidates are Vuk Rašović and Zoran Milinković.
Okay. Now wake me up, because this is surely a nightmare.

Since the start of the season

I'm trying hard to express myself in a decent way, I'm seriously trying hard...

we have been facing different challenges and even though we work hard, the solution is still out of sight.

Was it okay? It's really my best, I couldn't have been any more diplomatic.

So I suggest that instead of football the entire team (including the coaching staff as well as the management, together with that fathead Vazura and drug junkie Iliev) should plough the entire pitch with their bare hands and plant potatoes there. This activity would surely bring some benefits for humankind (unlike the way they play).

Don't ever think that I feel good while mocking the team. I'd very very much like to write about victories, exciting games, talented players, winner and committed attitude. But I can't. I can't write about something that doesn't exist... I'm angry, bitter and completely fed up with the shameless cynicism of the management as well as with this bunch of posers, of whom none deserves the jersey of Partizan and who spit the club and the fans in the face every single day. And I'm very much afraid it's still not the lowest point.

Independent of the results of the two rounds that are still left, we won the 2014/15 season.
There was an amazing atmosphere in Kruševac even before the match. Grave Diggers made it clear, they had come there to celebrate the championship title.
Residents of the neighbouring houses came out to the balconies to watch the game.

On the other side Napredak was facing the game from the 13th position of the league table. They needed every single point to avoid even just the possibility of being dropped out of the SuperLiga. Knowing this they attacked Partizan very heavily right from the kick-off. Every player of Kruševac had someone from Partizan to thrust himself upon the other’s back, hanging on him for the whole time, not letting him even to take breath. They used pressing tactics, they ran a lot, fought a lot, they got into almost combat fighting for the ball. Yet Partizan also had to win to make sure the championship title will be theirs.
The pace was fast with lots of battles, which was no wonder knowing all these facts above. The game was going on mostly on the midfield, none of the teams could make it easily to the goalmouth or even to the penalty area. In the 11th minute Napredak got a free kick 30 metres from our goal line, but Živko Živković easily caught it. We were about to run up for a counter-attack, but Andrija Živković was tackled by a defender somewhere halfway.
Two minutes later Babović’s pass arrived from the left to Šaponjić, but Frimpong headed the ball out before the stiker could grab it. In the 14th minute Andrija Živković dribbled through the right side and shot from 18 metres, but it was too high.
Another two minutes later a great chance was missed out by Napredak

defender Gobeljić ran up with the ball on the right and passed it to Trujić in the middle. Partizan defenders got stuck behind, for our luck Trujić shot it too high from the goalmouth.
The battle was going on, it was more or less even. In the 29th minute N’diaye tried from a sharp angle on the left, but Živko Živković easily caught it.
In the 31st minute Bandalovski gave a great pass to Šaponjić from the right, but Napredak’s goalkeeper threw himself in the way. A minute later Andrija Živković got the ball and ran up immediately, passing the ball to Šaponjić. Napredak defenders quickly ran there and tackled Partizan’s striker.
In the 34th minute came a Napredak free kick from about 40 metres, almost at the right line. (The sun was shining right into the eyes of Partizan-players.) The ball came in, N’diaye headed it, but missed.
In the 42nd minute Bandalovski was pulled to the ground inside the penalty area of Napredak. The referee didn’t whistle for penalty, even if it was clearly a foul. Hell broke loose, everyone was screaming and yelling, fans shouted vulgar and sarcastic chants about the referee and his family tree. The referee got angry and paused the game. After a short wrangling the match could continue and we could finish the first half.
The second half started with a delay. The goalkeeper of the home team, Janković arrived at the field being late with at least 10 minutes. Then we could start, with the life-saving clearing of Bandalovski right after the kick-off. He shot the ball out of the field in the middle of a dangerous attack, being just one step ahead than the attacker. In the 49th minute again the home team had a chance. Stanojević passed to Dimitrov, who was standing at our penalty area. He shot the ball to our goal line after a few dribbles, but it was too high.
It started to be a bit uncomfortable. Napredak wanted to score by all means, while we had to prevent it by all cost, at the same time we had to score at least one goal at all hazards. Despite this in the 59th minute Urošević tackled Andrija Živković and shot to our goal, but missed.
In the 62nd minute we got a free kick, about 40 metres from the goal line. Drinčić stood behind the ball.

We all know what it means when Drinčić stands behind the ball.
It means only one thing. A bomb shot, even from great distances.
It was such a big bomb shot that for Branko Ilić it was enough just to push the ball a bit with his head to pass it to the net.

The stadium exploded, so much that for a short while the game literally needed a pause, because the field was covered with smoke, while euphoric fans lighted firecrackers and torches.
In the 67th minute Kojić had a chance, while fighting with two defenders at the same time. His trying ended in a corner. Two minutes later Gobeljić shot the ball to our goal, Živko Živković easily saved it. In the 71st minute N’diaye sent a flat but powerful shot, again it did not cause any problem to Živko Živković. In the 73rd minute Bajić tried, his shot flew out near the goalpost, our goalkeeper probably didn’t even wake up.
In the 77th minute Trujić got the ball on the left. He ran up, dribbled then shot from 16 metres. Živko Živković jumped, the ball hit the goalpost.
Napredak was continuously and desperately attacking, at this point we got a bit stuck to our half. In the 79th minute again Bajić shot, but missed.
In the 80th minute Babović could have gone to heaven right from the Kruševac field, but he was just standing around on the penalty area line with the ball, finally defenders tackled him. A minute later Andrija Živković ran up and passed to Kojić. Kojić shot, too high.
Then in the 83rd minute Kojić got the ball and ran up towards Napredak’s goal. He passed to the middle, where Andrija Živković arrived. Živković shot, with his left foot, passing the ball near the goalkeeper, who ran out, and the shot ended in the net.

We just need to make it for the remaining few minutes of the game.

In the 86th minute Ninković ran up, he was tackled by defenders in the last moment. In the 87th minute we got a free kick, 20 metres from the goal. Napredak players were complaining, but the referee was relentless. Drinčić stood behind the ball, kicked, but the shot flew out near the goalpost.

In the 89th minute Napredak got a free kick at the half line. The shot flew to our penalty area, Trujić got it and shot. Živko Živković caught it. A minute later the home team again tried with a heading, Živko Živković saved it easily. Finally in the 90+1st minute Napredak got a free kick 25 metres from our goal line. The shot flew out above the crossbar.

This was that point when the speaker said, at the other match in Belgrade, that started at the same time as ours, Crvena Zvezda lost to 1:2 against that Radnički 1923, which team is the 16th on the league table.

Then it came to the end. Final whistle.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!

Time to celebrate. Time to scream, jump, roll on the grass. Time to sing, hug, climbing among fans, scream and sing with them.

We absolutely, fully, totally deserve it now.

So, the championship title is sure, only a simultaneous volcano eruption, tsunami, earthquake and a plague of locusts could change it. Maybe. But there is something we must not forget. This championship title is theirs, too. Without them it could have never happened.

Both teams started hard, then in the 7th minute Ninković tested Napredak’s goalkeeper. A minute later Volkov headed a corner right into Popović’s hands. Another minute later (and we are still within the first 10 minutes) Drinčić kicked a 20-metre bomber to Napredak’s goal line, Popović caught it.
In the 16th minute Škuletić got a pass from the right side. He kicked - and shot right into the goalkeeper.
In the 18th minute fans on the southern tribune remembered 18-year-old Partizan fan Nemanja "Rambo" Antić, who died tragically. 18 torches were burning for his memory.

In the 21st minute Škuletić put himself into action again. The ball was stolen at the half-line from fumbling Napredak-players and Ninković gave a pass to Škuletić. He dribbled himself through the guest defenders and kicked an enormous shot - hitting the goalpost.

In the 26th minute Drinčić made a 25-metre shot to the guests goal line. The goalkeeper saved, the ball dropped back to the penalty area. Lazović was running fast to catch it, but he couldn’t. A minute later Napredak made some uncomfortable moments in front of Partizan’s goal line, finally our defenders cleared the area.

In the 29th minute it could have been 1:0. Saša Ilić shot the ball into Napredak’s net, but the referee invalidated the goal saying it was offside.

But then came the real goal.

38th minute. Ninković got the ball on the left side and passed it to the middle with a powerful kick. Lazović raised from the mass (with a defender on his neck) and headed the ball into the net. 1:0

The last minutes still had some action left. First Drinčić ran up on the right with the ball and passed it to Škuletić in the middle. He shot it with a frenetic movement. The goalkeeper saved, yet if it had been a score, it would have been the Goal of the Year. Then a 30-metre sheer Drinčić-free kick bomber came, but the goalkeeper inactivated it.

In the second half Napredak tried to get a grip and get the control over the game. In the 51st minute Trujić had a try from the penalty area line, with no success. A few minutes later Stanojević headed the ball dangerously to Partizan’s goal line after a corner, but Lukač was at his place.

In the 60th minute Marković gave a long pass to Ninković. Everyone’s favourite Džigi headed the ball to the net passing by the goalkeeper running out - but the ball dropped out of the field just barely missing the goalpost.

In the meantime fans remembered 17-year-old Gojko Sekulić, who also tragically lost his life.

This was not the end.

Grave Diggers remembered that Crvena Zvezda fan who was stabbed to death by Turkish fans on 22nd November at the Galatasaray - Crvena Zvezda basketball match.

Meanwhile in the 68th minute Dimitrov had a subtle try, barely missed. Škuletić also had a try from a counter-attack, no success.
Two minutes later Andrija Živković (who joined the game as substitute) passed the ball from the left to the middle, almost from the base line. Lazović jumped up to head it to the goal line, but he was late with just one step. But nothing was lost, because there was Branko Ilić sneaking behind him. The Partizan-defender grabbed the ball and shot it to Napredak’s goal (while making a "tunnel trick" to Frimpong). 2:0

In the 82nd minute Bajić had a try from counter-attack, but his shot was way too wide. Three minutes later Trujić made a shot from a sharp angle, but the ball rolled over in front of the goal line.
Then in the 86th minute Škuletić realized that the match is almost over, but he still haven’t scored a goal. He ran up, stole the ball from a Napredak defender and made a marvellous, 40-metre solo run all alone. He left everyone behind him, dribbled the desperate Popović, who ran out, and walked in to the net with a wide grin, seriously, only the red carpet was missing. 3:0

In the 88th minute Lukač saved Cvetković’s shot. Then we were pretty much in the extra time, most probably everyone was focusing on the aftermatch hot shower, when Napredak made a sudden attack in the 90+3rd minute. Lukač saved Trujić’s shot, but the ball dropped right in front of Ndiaye. The Senegalese striker shot and scored into the empty net. 3:1
