Football news
The Serbian U20 national team is the world champion! With Andrija Živković, Ivan Šaponjić and Miladin Stevanović the "Orlići" played the U20 World Cup final at 07:00 CET against Brazil. They won to 1:2 in extra time.

Big big congratulations and all the best wishes to the players and last but not least to the Serbian U20 team coach/manager and former Partizan player Veljko Paunović and his coach staff.
In the meantime Partizan’s football team have already started the preparing for the 2015/16 season. The boys went to the picturesque Tara mountains for a training camp.
On the first day they had terrible weather, cold and rain. But our boys are not made from sugar to melt from a little water.
In the meantime a new player signed to the team in Belgrade. Fabricio (Fabricio Silva Dornellas) arrived from Brazil. The 25-year-old left back comes from team Bragantino in Brazil. He signed for one year, his jersey number will be 44.
He was immediately packed and sent to Tara to join the team in the training camp.
In the mountains the rain has stopped, the preparations can go on with full force.
Meanwhile Partizan’s youth team player, 18-year-old Nemanja Glavčić signed his first ever professional contract with the team for 5 years. He joined the seniors in Tara on 19th...
...where hard work starts to show its fruits.

This 15-year-old boy standing next to Zoran Milinković arrived from Priboj on his bicycle. The young man decided to come over to Tara on his bike to see his beloved team. The journey took a bit more than 2 days (65 km in air kilometres).

News from football fields
The football team signed a new (old) player. His name is Nikola Trujić, he started playing football in Partizan’s youth school. The 23-year-old winger played for Napredak Kruševac until now, before returning to ul. Humska. He signed for 4 years, his jersey number will be 92.
Meanwhile the Serbian national U20 team is playing at the World Cup in New Zealand. The "Eagles" clashed with Mexico at 06:00 CET and won to 2:0. With this Serbia has already qualified from the group stage.
The second goal of the game, a 25-metre bomb shot was scored by Andrija Živković.

Video of the day - the U20 Serbian national team learning Haka dance
The U20 Serbian national team - together with Andrija Živković, Ivan Šaponjić and Miladin Stevanović - are taking part at the U20 World Cup in New Zealand. Some students of a local high school visited them at a training and taught them Haka, the maori war dance. (You may have seen it here.)
...and now I imagine as Partizan-players perform it at the next eternal derby while the shocked opponent is just watching with eyes popped out.

Dick Advocaat - when the name perfectly fits the person who wears it
The situation is given: tonight Serbia plays an European Championship qualifying game against Albania. (The match will be held in Partizan Stadium.) This match is not just a simple qualifying but for more reasons it's rather a war-like battle, a prestige for both teams. The Serbian national team is very seriously motivated - and after all these, Serbian national team coach Dick Advocaat announces just a few hours before the match that the most talented Serbian striker, Partizan's former and Anderlecht's current goal scorer, 20-year-old Aleksandar "Mitrogol" Mitrović will not play tonight, because he is 'overweight and needs diet'.

Mr. Advocaat, you're a boor. A jerk. It was something utterly self-righteous and arrogant as well as happening in the worst possible timing. It was not the first time you speak about your employers in such an off-hand manner that makes every well-meaning person vomit from disgust. Back when you got this post you spoke about Serbian stadiums, Serbian hotels and generally about Serbia in a highly revolting and outrageous manner. Even the most innocent person wanted to tear your balls off and hang them on your ears like two withered cherries. This one now about Mitrović definitely blew the fuse. You are a disgusting asshole, Mr. Advocaat, who is clearly doing it all for money and fame, without even a pinch of committment for the Serbian national football team. It seems to be beneath your dignity to stay in Serbia, you rather play the boss from the Netherlands. Mr. Advocaat, your name perfectly fits you.
