Some rumour about Škuletić being there as well, if I find any photo about that, I’ll upload, of course.

Talking about the game, we attacked right in the first minute, Stevanović crossed, but nobody was fast enough to catch it. The reply came in the 3rd minute through Čečarić and his attempt, Kljajić caught it. Two minutes later he (Kljajić) had great luck, when he made a goal-kick, and the ball dropped to a Novi Pazar-player (Dimitrijević). Dimitrijević ran up, shot, Kljajić ran back to the goalmouth and could catch the ball just before the goal line.
Novi Pazar had a strong start, then Đurđević shot the ball into the goalkeeper in the 9th minute. Marjanović did the same in the 17th. In the 24th Stevanović crossed from the left, Đurđević was too slow, the goalkeeper caught it.
We took the lead in the 26th minute. Marjanović passed to Stevanović. Stevanović ran up, dribbled inside the penalty area, then passed to Bojinov, who was (again) slow like a sloth. But not Janković. He appeared out of the blue behind the Bulgarian and shot the ball right into the box. 1:0

27th minute, corner-kick for Partizan. Guess whose head flew the ball above with just two millimetres?

In the 30th minute Alivodić had a try, too wide. Afterwards a very thick smoke covered the pitch, too thick to be able to see anything. Even the commentator was just guessing whether the fouling Novi Pazar player got a yellow card or not, because nothing could be seen, maybe only silhouettes.
The next goal was a fail by Novi Pazar. Goalkeeper Zogović surely regretted in that moment to end up at the goal line instead of being e.g. a rope-dancer. Stevanović ran up, passed to Miletić, Miletić passed it back to Stevanović. Stevanović shot, it was a powerful one, the goalkeeper saved, but the ball dropped out of his hands and slowly rolled into the box. 2:0

Discreet happiness

In the 41st minute Janković shot with a fantastic bicycle-kick. Pity it was too wide, had he scored, he could have stood in line for the Puskás-award.

By the way, this was the southern tribune. What a crowd, isn’t it? Oh, wait...
Well, what did we expect, only 2500 spectators were present officially.

At the beginning of the second half Marjanović crossed the ball from the right, Bojinov was too slow again, missing it with just half a centimetre.

Bojinov was his own shadow at this game. I don’t even remember when was the last time he had so many screwed-up situations. He was always too slow to reach passes and crosses, he shot the ball into the opponent players, kicked into the ball just to make it roll out through the line and so on. Sometimes I had the feeling he was doing it on purpose. This kind of fooling around may do on a gala match, but it’s just fucking no funny on a championship game.

In the 54th minute Janković got a pass. He ran up, dribbled a defender and shot, it ended with a corner-kick.
It was still the 54th minute, we scored our 3rd goal. I have never seen such a comedy so far (It wasn’t the funny type, rather the pathetic one.)
Marjanović arrived on the right and crossed the ball to the other side, where Bojinov and Đurđević were both waiting.

Both of them attempted, making this weid, ballet-alike scene...

...nevertheless the ball dropped to the box, Bojinov ran out to the tribune to celebrate himself...

...the only problem was that the slow motion replay showed Uroš Đurđević scoring the goal, from every possible angle.

It wasn’t you, dude

The stadium speaker nevertheless mentioned Bojinov as the goal scorer, while the official match report named Đurđević. Meanwhile ArenaSport’s commentator couldn’t find his breath from laugh over this situation.

Oh well. A goal is always a goal and it must be celebrated

It made me laugh though when the commentator mentioned the goal scorers. He said, "first goal, Janković, second goal, Stevanović... then, well for me it’s Đurđević here, for Bojinov... it’s Bojinov".

In the 57th minute Đurđević got a pass (probably from Miletić), he shot, right into the goalkeeper.
Novi Pazar’s first and only attempt in the second half was in the 82th minute. Đoković shot from the right, Kljajić saved, corner-kick.

It made me raise my eyebrows to see Everton kicking everyone to the ground who just approaches him - he does not do it this often with the ball though... - but when he gets a kick, he collapses, rolls up and down on the field and plays the dying swan. Someone should tell him that he should focus on actual playing instead of being a pussy, because sometimes I can count on one hand how often he touches the ball during a match.

Đuričković’s score in the 84th minute settled the final result. It was a smooth thing, the ball dropped to the midfielder, he sent a cannon shot from 18 metres and scored. 4:0

A minute later Micevski tried the same trick on the other side, just he shot from 30 metres and it was too high. Alivodić had an attempt, too, trying to score one just for the honour, but Kljajić saved. Then in the 89th minute Ostojić headed the ball to the box, but it was too wide. The last attempt was in the extra time, Janković had a distant shot, but this too was too wide.

Novi Pazar - OK Partizan 3:1 (superliga, round 3)

I ran through the records of the game and I was saddened to see that Partizan’s former player Dušan Lopar plays in Novi Pazar now :(

Obviously there are reasons behind it. The problem is that I know nothing about the transfers of the volleyball league. It was by chance that I got to know about the start of this season at all. I can guess only about who does not play in Partizan anymore. Have I told how much I love the free flow of information?... (I surely haven’t, because such thing as "free flow of information" doesn’t exist here, God damn it.)

Okay.
Novi Pazar gave the game (and the first set) a tough start (7:4, 8:5), we could still equalize (10:10) with the points of Ristić and Turanjanin. We even took the lead, mostly by Novi Pazar’s mistakes, but volleyball is played for points, and at the end nobody cares how the team gained those points (especially if the team wins). We couldn’t be happy with the lead for too long, the home team equalized, they even took back the lead. We equalized again (17:17) thanks to the Veličković-Ristić duo. Novi Pazar again took the lead, it was surely a big struggle and a big fight. Turanjanin, Ristić and Buša will appear in the nightmares of Novi Pazar players... 24:24. Then 26:26. What is more, 26:27, Turanjanin blocks like the best firewall. Novi Pazar equalizes again. 27:27. Then 28:28. 28:29, again Turanjanin. What a game it could be... Novi Pazar again equalizes. 29:29. Buša scores, 29:30. Finally Polomac blocks, 29:31, monstre set with Partizan-victory.
The second set again started with Novi Pazar’s advantage (5:2, 6:5), we equalized again (7:7). Novi Pazar was ahead of us with only one step (11:10, 12:11), then Sretenović blocked and equalized (12:12). Ristić took the lead (12:13). And we kept our advantage! 13:16, 14:18, then Novi Pazar equalized, with clenched teeth, for sure. No problem, we took back the lead (18:20, 19:21). Novi Pazar equalized again and again, but they were always behind us. Then they took the lead (27:26) and it seems their nerves were a bit stronger at the end. They won this set to 28:26 and equalized.
For the third set we ran out of breath. After these two killer games it’s no wonder... 7:1, 8:2, 10:4, then we jumped to 12:9. Novi Pazar’s players probably also got tired for this point, they made more and more mistakes (that was also the reason why we reduced the difference to 3 points). The home team marched ahead, it was a smooth win for them. 25:18
We tried to keep ourselves at the beginning of the fourth set. 5:5, 5:6, 7:7, but somehow Novi Pazar could always make the best out of these draws. Around 14:10 we probably got completely exhausted. 20:11, 23:13, we gained a few points at the end, but in fact they were from the opponent’s mistakes.
Never mind.

OK Partizan - Novi Pazar 1:3 (superliga, round 12)

It was a relatively easy win for Novi Pazar against our volleyball team. They kept the game under their control, winning the first set to 22:25 and the second to 16:25. Partizan could show a more powerful, more collected game only in the third part, we won it to 25:21. We could keep the pace even in the fourth, leading to 8:6 in the beginning. We were behind the guests with only 1 point in the middle (15:16), but at the end Novi Pazar was too strong. They won the last set to 21:25, eventually winning the match to 1:3.

FK Partizan - Novi Pazar 3:0 (Jelen SuperLiga, Round 18)

Apologies to everyone that I post the match report only now. Yesterday I was brought under yoke for the whole day. I could watch the game only today, ArenaSport broadcasted it as a re-run.
The two teams walked out to the field in heavy rain, in front of almost empty stands. The official match report talks about 1000 spectators altogether.

1000 (one thousand) people. Not more. Even in the southern tribune there was only a handful of fanatics.

Partizan dashed themselves against Novi Pazar at once. Right in the first minute Ninković ran up with the ball in the middle, but a defender tackled him. Novi Pazar led a counter-attack, but Kljajić caught the ball at the end.

Interesting, now, that Saša Ilić was the team captain, this backward-passing and fumbling all disappeared. We attacked, we ran, we were full of fire.

In the 7th minute Saša Ilić passed the ball to Bojinov at the penalty area line. Bojinov ran up, two defenders put him into a "sandwich", the Bulgarian fell on the ground. A minute later Subić sent a cross from the left to the other side, to Aboubakar. Aboubakar shot with a bicycle kick, it was too high.
In the 18th minute Saša Ilić gave a spectacular pass to Ninković. Ninković immediately shot, it was too wide. In the next minute again Saša Ilić passed, now out to the left side, to Subić. It was a genial movement, Subić dribbled himself through the defenders and shot, missing it barely.

Novi Pazar got stuck in their own half, they could get out of the bunker around the 24th minute. Kostić ran up on the left, but his attempt ended in a corner. In the 26th minute they got a free kick about 30 metres from our goal line. The shot was blocked by Ćirković.
In the 27th minute Aboubakar had the ball, sending a cross to Bojinov. Bojinov shot, it was too high.
In the 33rd minute Novi Pazar attacked again. Stevanović ran up on the left, then Vusljanin got the ball. Again Ćirković interfered.
A minute later Saša Ilić got a pass. He forwarded it to Bojinov, but the ball hit a defender and had a small curve, making Bojinov speed up to catch it. Bojinov did speed up, overtaking the player of Novi Pazar running next to him and walked into the net with the ball. 1:0

I don’t like this Bulgarian, to be honest. I find him slow and ponderous, meanwhile he is constantly showing off in social media and in the press. Now, maybe as the impact of Saša Ilić, or maybe not, Bojinov sped up. He ran, he dribbled, he gave passes and crosses and he even scored a great goal.

In the 37th minute Bojinov sent a great cross to Babović. Babović got the ball at the penalty area line, then run up with it to the baseline

eventually he passed it to the middle. Aboubakar arrived, but the pass was too high for him.
In the 42nd minute Ćirković passed to Ninković. Ninković ran up on the left, dribbled himself to the middle, shot, Novi Pazar’s goalkeeper had a big save. The ball dropped to Babović, who slid himself into the middle, but his attempt was too wide.
In the 44th minute we got a free kick, 20-22 metres from the goal line, on the right. Babović stood behind the ball, but his shot hit the wall. The ball dropped back to him, Babović shot again, now it was too wide.
In the second half it was raining even heavier. In the 47th minute Bojinov got the ball in the middle, he shot, it was too high. In the next minute Novi Pazar attacked, Pavlović possessed the ball, getting a cross from the left. Pavlović shot, Kljajić caught it.
Then in the 49th minute Ninković passed to Babović in the middle. Babović passed back to Ninković. Džigi made himself a place to kick, then he sent a bomb shot from 17 metres right into the middle of the net. 2:0

At this point Partizan’s advantage was clearly visible. It was not even a question who was better.
In the 55th minute Novi Pazar missed out a big chance. Rušević sent a distant shot to the goal line. It was dangerous, barely missing our goal, Kljajić was very lucky.
In the 58th minute Bojinov got a pass. He ran up, sent a cross to the middle, it was a bit long, but Babović could save it before it would have rolled out through the baseline. He shot it back to the middle, Ninković arrived, but defenders cleared the area.
In the 59th minute Novi Pazar got a free kick 30 metres from our goal line. Kljajić saved.
In the 61st minute Andrija Živković joined the game after a long pause of injury (and other delays of different nature). He was greeted with applause and ovation by fans.

In the 74th minute Pavlović ran up and sent a cross to the right. Stevanović got it, he immediately shot it on the goal. The ball rolled ahead - even this scene was dangerous, but then Zilkić appeared out of the blue on the left, grabbed the ball and shot. Subić threw himself in the way, presenting the Save of the Year.

Subić had a great day. He played through the entire left side, he attacked, had attempts, meanwhile he had such life-saving moments. Keep up the great work!

In the 83rd minute Bojinov had a huge solo in the middle. He was surrounded by 4 defenders, but he could send a cross even from among them to Andrija Živković in the right side. Živković was overtaken by a defender, but Žile could still get back the ball. He shot, right onto the side net.
In the 85th minute Andrija Živković was on the right side with the ball. He forwarded it to Babović, Babović sent it ahead to Saša Ilić. Saša Ilić passed to Šaponjić with a small, delicate movement. Šaponjić shot, it was too high.
In the 86th minute we got a corner kick. Ninković got the ball, he kicked it to Andrija Živković in the middle. Živković shot, too high.
In the 89th minute Babović passed the ball to Andrija Živković, to the right side. Živković dribbled himself into the middle and shot, the goalkeeper had a great save.

It was already the very end of the game, when in the 90+2nd minute Vulićević tackled a Novi Pazar-player. He ran up with the ball and passed to Saša Ilić. The Captain forwarded it to Ninković, who arrived on the left side like a nuclear bomb. Ninković got it, shot it and scored. 3:0

3 in 1 - volleyball, water polo and rugby

I owe you a few results from the week-end, now you get them all in bulk.
I start with the bad news, okay?...
Partizan’s volleyball team visited Novi Pazar in the 3rd round of the superliga and practically they were served with a K.O. The home team had an easy, 3:0 victory over us. They won the first two sets most probably without any special effort (the result of the first was 25:14, the second ended with 25:19). We picked ourselves together for the last part, we were even leading for a while, but Novi Pazar turned out to be stronger.
The hero of the day was again Dimitrije Pantić with 18 points

remember this name, I think we’ll hear about this kid later a lot

he is followed by Luka Veličković (9 points) and Aleksa Polomac (5 points). Marko Popović and Ivan Kostić both earned 4 points, while Dušan Lopar and Boris Buša both scored 3.

The water polo team welcomed PVK Jadran in the 7th round of Triglav Liga.
It wasn’t a happy match. The guests were leading for the whole time. The first quarter ended with 2:3, it became 5:8 for the half time. At the end of the third quarter guests were leading to 8:11, and the game ended with 10:12.
The best player of the match was actually our goalkeeper Dimitrije Rističević, with 11 saves (at the other side Kandić had 7 saves). Among our goal scorers Gavril Subotić was the best with 3 goals, followed by Nikola Jakšić (2 goals). Lukas Gilen, Marko Manojlović, Radomir Drašović, Đorđe Tanasković and Filip Radojević all scored 1-1 goal.

Novi Pazar - FK Partizan 3:2 (Jelen SuperLiga, round 3)

This was once again a match we won’t put on display.
Yes, I get it, of course I get that 90 % of the team consisted of young players (Zoran Milinković probably wanted to save the top guns for the upcoming CL-qualifying). I get that the football association sent Glođović as a referee, who is not the model of impartial judgement, to say the least. I get it, too, that Partizan-fans were not allowed to the match, yet the extremely violent, blood-thirsty, vindictive ultras of Novi Pazar were there all over.
But never mind, because Kojić

my jaw dropped on the floor when I saw Koja Vitez in the starting eleven. So, despite all rumours Kojić still plays for Partizan, hoorayhoorayhooray

tried the reflexes of goalkeeper Zečević right at the beginning. The trying ended in a corner, while local fans threw firecrackers to the field. It was so heavy that Glođović paused the game for a short while.
Later, in the 5th minute Novi Pazar attacked, but Bogosavac cleared the area quickly and well. A minute later we got a free kick, about 30 metres from the goal line. Ninković stood behind the ball, he shot, but the goalkeeper caught it.
In the 7th minute again Novi Pazar led an attack on the left side. It was dangerous, but Živko Živković threw himself to the way, pushing the ball to corner. The kick was headed out by Partizan’s defenders.
In the 9th minute Grbić was pushed to the ground very roughly (he was just laying there, Partizan’s physicians picked his pieces and put them together like a puzzle game, and took the enervated striker off the field to give him medical assistance). Then in the 13th minute Lukić ran up on the left side and passed to Saša Ilić, who was standing at the other side. The Captain forwarded it to Grbić, who was back in his full power again. Grbić shot from 5 metres, but the goalkeeper saved. The ball dropped to Trujić, he didn’t waste his time, but shot it into the net near Zečević, who was slowly falling to the ground. 0:1, we’re on the lead!

At this point ArenaSport’s broadcast had a constant hiccup. No, not the stream, but the live broadcast itself. First the timestamp from the upper left corner (that shows the elapsed time of the match) disappeared, so in the next approx. 8 minutes I had no idea when happened what. A Novi Pazar-attack came from the left side, Radivojević shot from 8 metres, Živko Živković had a great save. We made a counter-attack, Kojić passed to Grbić, but he lost the ball. Ostojić threw himself into the way of another attack...
...and at this point the broadcast died. There was only an error message by ArenaSport on the screen.
And it was like so for a while.
And of course the live broadcast returned just in the very moment when Novi Pazar equalized. Like in an especially bad screenplay of a sports drama full of clichés.
The home team equalized from penalty. What else.
Later I could put together what happened. In the 22nd minute Novi Pazar attacked again. Aškovski ran up with the ball on the left while wrestling with Lukić. Then the player of Novi Pazar slid inside our penalty area

I swear, I watched it again and again (x+1) times, and even then I didn’t see Lukić pushing him or kicking him

nevertheless Glođović was so amazed that he whistled penalty. Predrag Pavlović stood behind the ball. He shot and scored. 1:1
After this Kojić tried with a counter-attack, but the goalkeeper caught the ball.
Two minutes later Trujić missed out a great chance. He got an excellent pass and wanted to shot form the goalmouth, but the ball rolled out of the field about half centimetre near the goalpost.
In the 25th minute the referee again gave a penalty shot to Novi Pazar. The scene was almost the same (if not totally the same) as previously. Again Aškovski ran up with the ball and fell inside our penalty area

just this time he made it with an elegant arch, earlier he just fell on his ass

and Glođović immediately pointed at the penalty spot. Aškovski stood behind the ball, ran up...
...AND ŽIVKO ŽIVKOVIĆ SAVED IT!!!!
My God, what a scene it was.
Yet 5 minutes later Novi Pazar did score, goddamn it.
Siniša Stevanović ran up on the right and passed it to the middle. There Aškovski jumped up and headed the ball into our net. 2:1

Do you know what really infuriating is?... Aškovski is actually a player of Partizan. He is on loan in Novi Pazar, because head coach Zoran Milinković didn’t need him. 
I’m not an expert, I have no trainer certificate, but I still think it was a big mistake, a very big one.

In the 28th minute we got a free kick, 30 metres from the goal line. Ninković stood behind the ball, he kicked, but his shot was headed out. Two minutes later Ostojić tried at a corner kick, but he headed the ball out of the field.
It wasn’t a heart-warming match. Novi Pazar’s players were quick and very aggressive. And there was referee Glođović as the aggravating circumstance, who immediately whistled if a Partizan-player just sent a mad look at anyone from Novi Pazar. In the 32nd minute Radivojević ran up on the left side all alone, only one defender was following him. For our greatest luck Živko Živković was at his place and performed a fantastic save.
Two minutes later Grbić dribbled himself through the defense line and passed to Ninković. Ninković shot, but it was too high. A minute later Vuković sent a shot to our goal line from 20-22 metres, thankfully this one was also too high.
The pace was still fast, the match itself was aggressive, even violent. There were many rough kicks that ended on a shin or foot instead of the ball, and the referee whistled only when he was in the mood to. Novi Pazar was more aggressive, they attacked more and the it striked back that Partizan had a lot of players with no routine.
In the 40th minute Kojić had a try, but goalkeeper Zečević caught the ball. A minute later again Koja got the ball. A defender immediately put himself into action. The ball hit his hand, but Glođović was just watching it with poker face, no whistle.

The slow motion replay clearly showed the ball hitting the defender’s hand. Thanks, Glođović. We won’t forget this to you.

In the 45th minute Predrag Pavlović started an attack from the half line. He ran up to Partizan’s penalty area, leaving defenders behind him. Živko Živković ran out of the goalmouth, finally, for our luck Pavlović was dribbling too long and the ball rolled out of the field.
In the 46th minute Kojić and Saša Ilić were passing the ball to each other in the goalmouth, then Partizan’s striker took the chance and walked into the net together with the ball. 2:2!!! We equalized!

In the second half the referee kept on whistling for every (seemingly) suspicious movement of any Partizan-player. For Novi Pazar he was much more gracious.
In the 53rd minute Radivojević was wandering around our penalty area, again all alone. Thankfully Živko Živković was still at his place. We made a counter-attack, Ninković shot, missed.
In the 57th minute Ninković ran up on the left and passed to Saša Ilić. Saša Ilić was then kicked to the ground, but nobody gave a damn. Especially not Glođović, even though the Captain was complaining heavily.
In the 58th minute young Glavčić debuted in the senior team as the substitute of Grbić.
Around the 60th minute the pace slowed down. Players kept on passing the ball among each other, then in the 63rd minute Miladin Stevanović got a great pass and ran up towards the goal line. A defender pushed it to corner. It turned into a counter-attack, with Živko Živković kicking the ball up to the tribune at the end.
In the 65th minute Trujć passed the ball to the middle from the left, but the goalkeeper caught the shot. Two minutes later Ninković was brutally pulled to the ground in front of the penalty area. Needless to say, the refere again didn’t whistle. In the 68th minute Bogosavac had a distant, not too powerful shot, but it was too wide.
In the 69th minute Saša Ilić passed to Ninković to the right side. Džigi shot from 16 metres, the ball flew out above the crossbar.
In the 71st minute another youngster debuted: Golubović joined the team as the substitute of Trujić.
Despite Partizan’s pressure in the past minutes Novi Pazar took the lead in the 72nd minute. After we lost the ball, they started immediately an attack towards our goal area. Kostić got the ball on the right side and passed it to the middle, where Predrag Pavlović immediately shot. Živko Živković saved it, but the ball dropped in front of Aškovski. He pushed the ball into the net with a soft movement. 3:2
Then came Šaponjić as a substitute for Kojić

Did I hear well that the absolutely unsportsmanlike fans of Novi Pazar started to curse Šaponjić at this point?...
I hope very very much that I didn’t hear it well.

In the 80th minute Ninković got the ball (from Saša Ilić?...) and shot from 14 metres. The goalkeeper saved.
In the 82nd minute it was unbelievable to see that the attackers of Novi Pazar kept on passing the ball among themselves inside our penalty area, without being interrupted. It ended in a corner, then someone kicked the ball way too wide, out of the field.
In the 88th minute Golubović dribbled fought like a lion on the left side. Finally he kicked the ball to the middle to Šaponjić, but it was too long for Partizan’s striker. Two minutes later Lukić passed to Šaponjić. Šaponjić headed it to the goal line, but missed it.
In the 90+3rd minute Lukić passed to Ninković. Ninković forwarded it to Šaponjić, but the goalkeeper threw himself into the way.
Finally, in the last minute (90+4th) we got a free kick 35 metres from the goal line, in the middle. Ninković ran up and shot, but it ended in a corner. The corner kick was cleared by the defenders and at this point referee Glođović ended the match.

In the very beginning of the ceremony Saša Ilić got a present from the team leadership. This was his 10th championship title with Partizan.

A lot of other football players have won more than 10 titles during their career, but there are just a very few of them who gained this number wearing the jersey of the same club. One of these very few players is Saša Ilić.

I’ll be honest: the upcoming part of the ceremony was very emotional for me. This was that very moment when I threw pride and loftiness to hell and did not feel ashamed for my tears. And I didn’t even care if anyone thought I was mentally deranged.
Novi Pazar born Bajro Župić, the former legendary defender of Partizan stepped to Saša Ilić and gave him his present.

Then... then you quickly wipe away your tears, pick yourself together, because SuperLiga’s boss, Zoran Šćepanović handed the Jelen SuperLiga chalice to Saša Ilić.

Then came the second part of the show: the lap of honour, when fans can also take the cup to their hands and raise it.

What a GREAT frontman this old man is...

At 17:00 started the football match. There were some of those players in the starting eleven who have barely or never got the chance so far.
This time our team captain was Nikola Ninković.

The usual music that is always in the background while the teams walk out of the tunnel and greet the audience was not turned off even after the kickoff. The two teams started the match with Grupa JNA’s song "Titula, titula".
But then Novi Pazar decided to poke their nose into the big celebration and make it a bit their own way.
But let’s start it in the beginning.
In the 3rd minute Ninković, also as team captain, sent a shot from the left from 20 metres, but it was too wide. In the 6th minute a Novi Pazar player (maybe Pavlović?... I didn’t see well) had a try, but Balažic tackled him. A minute later Grbić ran up with the ball, but he was tackled, ending in a corner. The kick was pushed with the head by Brašanac, but the ball flew out above the crossbar.
In the 10th minute Brašanac was tricking with the ball among Novi Pazar defenders. He dribbled himself through the penalty area, but for some unknown reason at this point the assistant waved offside.

I swear it wasn’t offside. 

Novi Pazar immediately started a counter-attack, Balažic cleared the area from the attempt.
In the 12th minute Ninković passed the ball to the middle from the left. Bandalovski was wrestling with the defenders and lost the ball. Two minutes later Đorđević made some uncomfortable moments at the right side of our penalty area, finally Ćirković turned off his fun.

but finally the ball hit the goalpost. We still possessed the ball. Balažic got it, but he headed it too high.
A minute later Novi Pazar got a free kick at our penalty area line on the left. Pavlović sent a terrible, flat kick to our goalmouth. The ball was dropping here and there, finally it ended in the lower right corner of our net. Please, don’t ask how it happened. 0:1
In the 24th minute Brašanac headed up with the ball and passed to Lukić. He sent it to Petrović but a defender was quicker and kicked it out. Throw-in, Ninković got the ball. He kicked it to the goalmouth, where Grbić was waiting. He headed the ball towards the goal line, but it flew out near the goalpost. In the 30th minute it was again Ninković who stole the ball while sleepy Novi Pazar defenders were passing it to each other. Džigi ran up, passed to the middle, but defenders caught it before Šaponjić could have grabbed it. No problem, we still possessed the ball. Marković shot from 25-30 metres, the goalkeeper saved.
At this part of the match Partizan was pushing heavily. It was getting more and more uncomfortable that the guest team was on the lead on our championship celebrating match. We continuously possessed the ball, we kept on attacking, in the 33rd minute Lukić tried with a distant shot, but it was too weak. But at least he tried.
Two minutes later again Marković had a distant shot, it was too wide. Not much later Petrović got the ball after a corner. He shot, the goalkeeper caught it.
Then in the 42nd minute Grbić got the ball from Bandalovski on the right. He ran up and passed it to the middle. Ninković headed it to the goal, but the ball hit the crossbar. It flew towards Šaponjić. The striker headed it, the ball fell into the net.

The first memorable event of the second half was in the 51st minute. After a very long absence, injury, operation and recovery Miroslav Vulićević returned to the field. The defender was welcomed with great applause and ovation. Two minutes later it was him who passed the ball to the middle from the right, which was followed by a short, but fiery and spectacular scene with quick and dangerous passes. Ninković shot it to the goal, a defender saved, then it all ended in a Novi Pazar counter-attack.
In the 55th minute Lukić tackled a slow guest player after a corner. He ran up, passed to Šaponjić, but it was way too long for our striker.
Then the pace slowed down. There were a lot of rough clashes, with at least one player laying on the grass. The time passed mostly with substitutes, while the audience was watching it all in silence, being maybe a slightly bit disappointed. In the 58th minute Andrija Živković got a chance. He was in a "sandwich" of two defenders, his shot was too wide. (Meanwhile the goalkeeper of Novi Pazar couldn’t stand up from the grass after clashing with his own defender.)
In the 72nd minute we got a corner. Marinković shot, it was dangerous, but it was headed out. Marinković got back the ball, he shot, now Balažic tried to push it with head towards the goal line, but it was too wide.
At this point of the match there was a lot of running on the field, without remarkable result.
In the 77th minute Novi Pazar got a free kick from 23-25 metres. The kick hit the wall. In the 83th minute we got a free kick, 35 metres from the goal, at the left sideline. Marinković stood behind the ball, he kicked it to the goalmouth, but the goalkeeper caught it. A minute later Marinković passed the ball to Brašanac. He passed it ahead to Šaponjić, but the attempt ended in a corner.
The 88th minute brought a missed chance by Novi Pazar. Matos got the ball from the left, he shot from 20 metres, Živko Živković caught it.
For the last minutes of the game music was turned back on, while in the 90+1st minute Petrović tried with a shot, but it was too wide. Then came the final whistle and fans rushed into the field.

We’ve been undefeated for the 12th match now. It’s something absolutely unique in the volleyball team’s history.
Novi Pazar tried to keep things under control, at the beginning they were on the lead, being ahead of us with 2-3 points. The truth is, they couldn’t keep things in hand and with numerous faults and mistakes they lost the first set. The result was 25:22.
Then it was time for us to show who’s the boss. Mrdak turned on his usual crushing form (he scored 21 ponts on this match) joined by the Mijailović-Kostić duo and we quickly made our way to 14:9.

We were ahead to 23:18 when the guest team reduced the difference with 2 points. Then came Mrdak again and mercilessly crashed the lines of Novi Pazar. We won the second game to 25:21.
Guests picked themselves together for the last set and made it to 0:3. But Partizan started up the Steam Roller, at 18:9 the only question left was to win with 10 points or keep ourselves to the one-digit difference. The end result of the set was 25:15, and Partizan is leading the league table after 12 played games with 33 points, having 6 points of advantage ahead of Crvena Zvezda, that stays at the second place.

Marko Nikolić stays at Partizan.
So far it’s still unofficial, the news leaked out after today’s (Tuesday) team management meeting. The team leadership had an official press release, too, which is properly evasive and self-adulating. The main (hidden) point is that the management got scared of the possible fury and rage of Grave Diggers.

Still talking about Marko Nikolić: Novi Pazar filed a lawsuit against Partizan’s trainer for libel. Nikolić had a heated dispute with the referee of the match played at the beginning of December, then at the post-match press conference he said angrily: this weekend was the rock bottom of Serbian football, adding, it was not the first case such things had happened in Novi Pazar.
Redžep Korać, Novi Pazar’s secretary general said, Marko Nikolić "heated up religious and national arguments among people living in Serbia with his nationalistic words". He added: such words and actions are criminal acts upon the laws of Serbia, with the possible sentence of two to five years of imprisonment. Novi Pazar’s secretary general said, he hoped everyone would learn to take responsibility for their words and actions once and for all, even if this person in question is Partizan’s trainer.
It shows well the seriousness of the case that even deputy prime minister Rasim Ljajić had a word, questionning the efficiency of the police for still not finding the fan who hit Marko Nikolić on the head with a firecracker.

Milenko Tepić got injured on Partizan’s Tuesday training. There are no informations on the seriousness of his injury, how much pause he’ll need, if he needs any.
Saša Pavlović will be able to return at the match against Cedevita on 3rd January, if all goes well. But Edo Murić needs at least 2 more weeks for complications. We won’t be able to see him playing before 17th January.

FK Partizan - Asteras Tripolis 0:0 (UEFA Europa League)

The match started with a minute of silence for the memory of Blagoje Paunović, who passed the day before the match.

Then the guests immediately attacked Partizan’s goal. Thankfully they missed, it was even offside. The answer came with Ninković, he had a distant shot, the goalkeeper saved it to corner. The kick was cleared by defenders, then Ninković got the ball again and passed it to Drinčić. Drinčić shot, the goalkeeper caught the ball.
In the 8th minute Ninković was again in the centre of attention. He ran up, had a great solo, dribbled himself through the defenders and shot, the goalkeeper saved.
After the first 10 minutes the match’s pace slowed down. The next chance came in the 17th minute. Škuletić sent the ball to Marković with a great "Oxford" movement. The midfielder shot, the goalkeeper saved. Asteras had one or two weak tries in the meantime, as for us, we got a corner in the 23rd minute. Stanković headed the ball towards the net, the goalkeeper caught it. (Theodoropoulos had a busy day in the office...) 3 minutes later Ninković gave a pass to Grbić. He kicked the ball to Volkov, the defender shot, Theodoropoulos saved.
Asteras had a distant shot in the 30th minute, Gianniotas did it from 18 metres. Lukač had a great save. Four minutes later we got a free kick about 20 metres from the goal line. Drinčić stood behind the ball, shot, the goalkeeper caught it.

Here came a period when fans singing and holding banners were much interesting and entertaining than the match itself...

Then in the 42nd minute Živković got the ball from Ninković and ran up. He got a defender on his back inside the penalty area and the two started to wrestle. Partizan’s midfielder fell on the ground and stayed there with a painful face. RTS replayed it in slow motion a few times from different angles. It was clear Asteras’s defender did not touch the ball while pushing Živković down. Yet the Polish referee was adamant and waved for goal kick, despite Volkov’s angry gesticulations.

Asteras had a try left for the last minute of the first half, but the ball flew out of the field above the crossbar.
The second half started with the Chance of the Day (or rather The Missed Chance of the Day...) Škuletić got the ball from the right side and shot. The goalkeeper saved, the ball dropped in front of Živković. The midfielder was tackled by a defenders, after this he kicked the ball precisely to Ninković. Ninković shot - and the ball hit the goalpost. Two minutes later he tried again, now hitting the goalkeeper.

In the 53rd minute we got a free kick. Asteras’s goalkeeper saved to corner, while players were wrestling with each other. Ninković fell on the ground, then Volkov, too, finally the referee showed the yellow card to Volkov. (Why?...)
There was silence until the 68th minute, finally Škuletić ran up, dribbling himself through Asteras-players on the left side and shot. It was too high, the ball left the field above the crossbar.

A minute later he got a pass from Volkov. Škuletić jumped up to head the ball into the net, but he missed the ball with  just one step. In the 71st minute he shot again, now from the right side, the ball rolled out of the playing ground near the left goalpost. Škuletić kicked again the ball to the goal in the 71st minute, this time from the right side, the ball rolled out of the playing field near the left goalpost.
In the 74th minute Grbić was substituted by Saša Ilić. The audience was cheering loud and ecstatic chanting "Jedan je Ilić kapiten".

A minute later Asteras got into a chance-alike situation, first time after long minutes. The ball got stuck on Partizan defenders, finally Lukač saved.
In the 76th minute Škuletić got a marvellous pass from Ninković - and shot way above the crossbar.

Two minutes later opponent player Fernández kicked it to our goal, but it was both weak and way too wide. It did not cause any headache for Lukač. In the 84th minute we got a free kick above 25-30 metres from the goal line. The shot hit the wall, there was an upheaval then, but we still possessed the ball. Finally Luka headed the ball to the goal, but missed.
In the 90th minute Lukač had an amazing save. He was all alone against about 3 opponent attackers passing the ball to each other, while our defenders were watching amused.

Football-related news is that Marko Nikolić was punished by FSS after the scandal at the match against Novi Pazar. (The story still keeps itself that Partizan’s trainer told referee Glođović what to do, how and with whom in a not really literary style after the referee was unwilling to pause the match when home fans threw a firecracker to Nikolić’s head.) FSS said Nikolić is banned "until further notice". Hereby I send my most sincere congratulations to everyone at the association, as Partizan will not play any official match until the middle of next February. I hope those smart people there will receive a Nobel Prize soon.

It very much seems so this was Volkov's last match wearing Partizan's jersey :( The defender plans to transfer to another club during this winter. In an interview he said: his contract will expire next summer. If he can find a new team now, then Partizan can still earn from his transfer.
